New Petal Cone Die for Big Shot
How gorgeous is the new Stampin' Up! Petal Cone Die for the Big Shot! Your next party will be a hit when you give favors and gifts in this fun petal cone! Use the banner to label your gift and the scalloped half-circle as an accent for the petal flaps. It's just in time for Valentine's Day! I've paired this great die with an equally great stamp set – Bliss – which is one of the items you can earn free during Sale-A-Bration beginning January 25th. Each purchase of $50 earns you a free product! The banner is stamped using some of the Bliss stamps as well as a sentiment from Vintage Vogue. There's lots of sponging using a Stamping Sponge and Early Espresso Classic Ink and a Jewels Rhinestone to dress things up even more.
Here's the lid of the petal cone; I used a Crop-A-Dile to punch holes in the flaps and fed some Pretty in Pink 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon through.

Finally – Vintage Vogue!
I didn't order Vintage Vogue stamp set when it first came out because I knew I was to receive it at the Syracuse Regional Conference. But that didn't happen — remember the snowstorm that shut down the entire event? So I just ordered and received it this past week! Everyone's lovin' this set — now it's my chance to play!
I stumbled upon this color combination quite accidentally, and I love it! I wasn't sure at first that the Bermuda Bay and Old Olive worked together, but after I was all finished, I decided I liked it quite a bit! The background is Soft Suede card stock run through the Big Shot using the Texturz Plates Kit #4. Next came Cameo Coral card stock, then the Bermuda Bay. I cut out a 2" circle of Whisper White card stock using my Big Shot and Circles #2 Originals Die (honestly, I can't make a card without the Big Shot anymore!), and the ribbon is run through a slit in the Bermuda Bay card stock and tied in front. It's Old Olive 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon. The flowers are stamped from Vintage Vogue in Cameo Coral Classic Ink then cut out; two are on Dimensionals. I stamped the leaf images in Old Olive Classic Ink directly on the Whisper White circle. To add the centers to the flowers, I stamped another flower, this time in Soft Suede Classic Ink, then used circle punches to punch them out. The sentiment is from Chit Chat Rub Ons, the perfect crisp white lettering that this card needed!
