Leadership Swap
I'm heading out to Phoenix for the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference on January 5th, and I've just put the finishing touches on my swaps I'll be taking. I made 90 swaps this year–not too bad with all of the holiday family commitments!
I began with Basic Gray card stock. When you're going to be making a large quantity of cards, the Stampin' Up! Neutrals Card stocks are a great value. With Basic Gray, I got 40 sheets of card stock for $7.50 as compared to 24 sheets for $5.50. It's not a huge saving at all, but something to consider!
I used the Eyelet Border Punch with Whisper White card stock, as well as Bermuda Bay Patterns Designer Series Paper, to create the strip down the left-hand side. The stamp set is Best Wishes & More, and the sentiment from that set is stamped with Whisper White Craft Ink on Rich Razzleberry card stock, then a couple of Pretty in Pink Brads are added from the Soft Subtles Brads collection. The heart is stamped in Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink, mounted on Pretty in Pink card stock with a piece of Bermuda Bay 1/2" Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon attached as a tab, then mounted to the card with Dimensionals.
I had to keep it pretty simple when making 90 cards, but I hope people like them! You can look forward to seeing 90 brand new swaps at upcoming workshops during the next several months!
