Best Day Ever – 2015 Sale-A-Bration

- I wanted to try a rainbow effect with my color scheme, but was tired of the traditional bright colors. Just for fun, I tried combining 2 Subtles colors (Pear Pizzazz and Calypso Coral) with 3 Regals colors (Rose Red, Crushed Curry and Island Indigo) for a bit of a different look.
- I stamped each color of flower, turning the petals so that the striped one ended up in a different place each time.
- Do you sometimes need more Black Candy Dots than all the rest of the neutrals color pack? I definitely go through them more quickly! For this card, I used the Very Vanilla Candy Dots (which I don’t seem to use very often) and colored them black with a sharpie. It worked great!
- Don’t forget to pop the main image up on Dimensionals!

Backyard Basics and Venetian Romance
Good grief – retired products are just FLYING off the shelves at Stampin’ Up! I made this card 2 days ago to post for you today, and the stamp set for the tulip, Backyard Basics, has already sold out! It’s important to get your order in right away before your favorites are gone for good!
I’ll show you the cad anyway, because it also includes other great products that are soon to retire. You could always change the tulip image to something else.
- I’ve loved the pretty colors in Venentian Romance designer paper, so I started with a piece that is Tangerine Tango and Very Vanilla.
- The Soft Suede cardstock circle is cut out with the 3-1/2″ Circle Die which is also retiring.
- The sentiment comes from Delightful Dozen stamp set, also retiring! Grab this nifty set before it’s gone, too!
- A Pistachio Pudding Boutique Details accents this card on top of a 1″ Soft Suede cardstock circle. Be sure to grab these greate embellishments. We still have a full year with the 2013-15 In Color palette.

With Stampin' Up!'s designer series paper sale going on in July, I thought I'd show you a card using one of the prettiest papers on sale – Afternoon Picnic Designer Series Paper. I love the colors in this rich, vintage paper – Basic Gray, Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla and Wisteria Wonder! Wow – lots of colors to work with!
- Love & Sympathy stamp set is the perfect little set to show someone you're thinking about them. I chose to use just the flower motif and add instead a sentiment from Lots of Thanks to change it up a bit and show you something new.

For All You Do
For All You Do is such a terrific stamp set! I love the images and the sentiments. Who doesn't need a good flower and butterfly stamp set! Here I've used the color scheme of Baja Breeze, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Basic Black and Very Vanilla. The flower image is stamped using Stampin' Write Markers directly to the rubber and I added a couple of Basic Rhinestones to the centers. The "thank you" looks great stamped in black right over the flower. The Old Olive 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon ties in the Old Olive from the flower stems. The crisp black and vanilla color scheme of the Newsprint Designer Series Paper seems right for almost any project!

Ribbon Roses Thank You
The Stampin' Up! satin ribbon is the perfect ribbon for making these darling roses. I find myself decorating everything with them!
The card begins with Bashful Blue textured card stock. Next comes a layer of Melon Mambo card stock, followed by some Certainly Celery. The designer paper is from my leftover Sale-A-Bration paper pack. I stamped the sentiment from Short & Sweet stamp set in Melon Mambo Classic Ink, then punched it out with the Curly Label Punch and tucked it underneath the Certainly Celery layer. I've used Bashful Blue satin ribbon for the roses and Certainly Celery satin ribbon for the leaves. Mini Glue Dots are the best adhesive for keeping those pretty roses in place!
