Cheers to You!
I love the Cheers to You stamp set for sending out a fun congratulations card. I had a great layout to use, but I didn't know what colors I wanted. Stampin' Up! to the rescue! Our brand new Color Coach is just the thing to have handy when looking for that perfect color combination. Included is 55 double-sided cards with removable metal post fastener. One side features the card stock color, the other side gives several ideas for color combining. Here, I chose Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise and Daffodil Delight, three of the new Brights Collection colors, for a fun, perky effect. I chose textured card stock in Melon Mambo to begin my card, then ran the Tempting Turquoise card stock through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dot Textured Impressions Folder on just part of the card stock, the upper half above the Daffodil Delight 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, so that I could stamp a sentiment on a flat surface. The cocktail image is stamped with StazOn Black Ink and colored in with stamp pads and Blender Pen. I added some Crystal Effects to the glass to give it a "liquid" look and a Rhinestone Brad in the corner to finish it off.
