Snow Much Fun swap
What a blast we had at our all-day demonstrator Stamp Fest this past weekend! It may be a bit early to think about Christmas cards, but this darling little fellow from Snow Much Fun stamp set was just too fun to pass up! We each brought a "shoebox swap" – a box containing all of the pieces to make a card to share. This is the card I designed. I began by stamping Mr. Snowman in Early Espresso Classic Ink, then coloring bits of him in with my Stampin' Pastels. The same ink was used with a Stampin' Sponge around the outside edges. Not Quite Navy card stock was run through the Big Shot with our new Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for some added interest. Victoria Crochet Trim is held in place with an Antique Brad, and the greeting from Tiny Tags is punched out with the Jewelry Tag Punch, along with a couple from Not Quite Navy and Cajun Craze card stocks. Well Worn Designer Series Paper began the color scheme and I used a strip of it along the bottom. While this paper seemed a good Fall and masculine choice, I saw "Christmas" from the get go!
I'll be posting many of the other 19 cards I made at our Stamp Fest. There were so many beautiful designs! Stay tuned!
