Aloha!
Aloha – as this is posting I am on a plane to attend the Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip to Hawaii! I am so fortunate to be able to take this fabulous trip to Oahu with all expenses paid by Stampin’ Up! It’s truly a fantastic part of being a demonstrator. Thank you to all my wonderful customers and team members – without each and every one of you this wouldn’t be possible!
I’ve decide to “shut down” and really call this a vacation, so I will have very limited internet access and won’t be working much except to check and answer a few emails.
I will be back working to catch up on May 20th and will be posting the May Card Shoppe cards then. Here’s a look at the 4 Stamp-A-Stack Options for October:
Stamp-A-Stack “By Mail!” kits give you lots of flexibility! There are four different options – card design A, B, C and D. You can opt to make 1 design, 2 designs, 3 designs or all 4 designs. The designs are sold in quantities of 6. So if you select design B, you will make 6 of them. If you select all of the designs, you will make 6 of each for a total of 24 cards! If you really like one design, you can do multiple “batches” of that design. So for example, if you just love design C and want to make it in mass quantity, you can choose to do 12, 18, 24, 30…60 – however many you want in increments of 6. Want to do 18 each of 2 designs? No problem! Mix and match HOWEVER YOU WANT in quantities of 6.
When you order in “bulk” (24 cards or more) you’ll get a price break for each batch of 6!
- Make 6 cards of 1 design for $15 or FREE with a minimum order of $25
- Make 12 cards (either 1 design or 6 each of 2 designs) for $30 or FREE with a minimum order of $45
- Make 18 cards (either 1 design, 6 each of 3 designs or 12 of 1 design and 6 of another) for $45 or FREE with a minimum order of $60
- SAVE PER CARD! Make 24 cards (either 1 design, 6 each of all 4 designs or any combination) for $55 or FREE with a minimum order of $70
- Order as many as you’d like over 24 for $13.75 per each batch of 6 or FREE with a minimum order of $17.50 for each batch of 6. EXAMPLE: Make 60 cads (any combination) for $137.50 or FREE with a minimum order of $175.

Here’s a look at Track A Cards for October:
You’ll be e-mailed the downloadable PDF instructions for the Tracks you select and receive the kits in the mail. The kits come pre-cut, pre-punched and pre-die cut. All you do is stamp and assemble!
Card Shoppe gives you lots of flexibility! There are two different track options – Track A and Track B. Each track features 4 different card designs. Choose one track, two tracks, or even two of one track if you really like one particular set of cards!

Hey There and Beach House Washi Tape
I had so much fun making THIS CARD with the Watercolor Wonder Washi Tape that I decided to try a different shape with a different package of washi – this time Hearts Framelits and Beach House Wash Tape.
- You’ll find the instructions to create this fun Washi Tape image in my previous post HERE. In fact, I used the exact same measurements for the star and heart images.
- Color scheme for Beach House Washi Tape is Real Red, Crushed Curry and Pool Party – yum!
- You’ll notice the pretty hear border at the top – it’s made with the brand new Hearts Border Punch with a piece of Crushed Curry Cardstock behind.
- The “So Sweet” sentiment is from Hello There stamp set and is stamped in VersaMark Ink on Real Red Cardstock, then heat embossed using White Embossing Powder and Heat Tool. After I was finished with those steps, I used the Circle Framelits to cut it out.
- Hands down – my favorite ribbon in the new catalog is the 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon, here in Pool Party. The colors are gorgeous and it ties like a dream. If you’d like to receive a 2-yd. share of each of the 12 colors of Cotton Ribbon, why not sign up for a Ribbon Share – you needn’t purchase full spools of all the colors this way. Fun with Stampin’ Up! Decorative Masks
YOUR CHANCE TO WIN A FREE GIFT – READ ON!
Hubby was away all day today, and I needed a break from packing to move, so I decided to play with the new Dots & Stripes Decorative Masks by Stampin’ Up! If you haven’t noticed them yet, they’re on page 205 in the 2014-15 Annual Catalog. There are two sets – Hearts & Stars and the ones I chose to use, Dots & Stripes.
There are several ways to apply ink to the Masks. For my cards today, I chose to fill several Stampin’ Spritzers with rubbing alcohol and Ink Refills. It takes quite a few drops of reinker – just add more if your color isn’t as vibrant as you’d like. Then simply use your spritzers to add color to your cardstock.
I took pictures of the steps along the way so that I could explain how I achieved the variegated colors.
First, I laid down a piece of Stampin’ Up! Grid Paper. Next came a piece of 5-1/4″ x 4″ Whisper White Cardstock. Then using my grid paper to line everything up, I laid on my Decorative Mask. You’ll see I have my Stampin’ Spritzers already filled and ready. I’ve used Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Night of Navy on my first card then Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo on the other three.
I started by spritzing on Daffodil Delight over the first two rows of the Decorative Mask. Give a firm push all the way down and keep the spritzer moving from left to right.
Next I spritzed on Old Olive, trying to get a bit on the second row of the Daffodil Delight and also covering a row or two of the remaining dots.
The last spritzing, I used the Night of Navy spritzer to spray a bit into the Olive and the final row of dots.
Pick it up carefully after you’ve done all your spritzing so the ink on the mask doesn’t run off onto your cardstock.
And here’s the finished product! I loved the background so much that I simply added a sentiment and no embellishments. The skinny black border helped the colors pop out. “Hello There” sentiment is from the Hello There stamp set.
Next I tried Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo with a sentiment from Geometrical.
Then I got the idea to spritz at a diagonal! Oh, this is so much fun and addicting! Here I used a sentiment from Fabulous Four stamp set.
And finally, rather than washing off my mask, I set a piece of Whisper White cardstock on top of the mask to soak up the excess ink and got the reverse design. I think this is actually my favorite! Sentiment is from Lots of Thanks stamp set.
To clean off the mask, I just ran it under warm water and blotted it dry with an old towel. I can’t wait to use all of the other masks now! So fun, quick and easy – and WOW!

Stampin’ Up! Inspire Create Share 2014
This past week has been a whirlwind, what with moving and attending the Stampin’ Up! Inspire Create Share (formerly known as Convention)! As always, this Stampin’ Up! event was a blast! At Awards Night, it was announced that I had earned a place in the Top 100 Stampin’ Up! demonstrators in the US! Needless to say, I was blown away! Thank you to my wonderful customers and team of From the Heart Stampers for making it possible!
Here’s the swap I took with me. I was only able to get 75 of them made, but I always have so much fun swapping that I just couldn’t go empty handed. I’ll be posting some of my favorites of the swaps I received soon!
- I took the color scheme for this card from the Flashback Designer Series Paper, even though I didn’t use any. Colors are Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Pool Party, Smoky Slate and Very Vanilla. Here’s a card set I made using several different prints from Flashback.
- Choose Happiness stamp set is a fun collage-type set full of possibilities! It also goes well with Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in the background.
- Real Red cardstock creates the little accent to the left, and there is Pool Party 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon on top.
- Pearls decorate the center of the flower. I kept the Dimensionals to just the Crushed Curry cardstock circle sentiment since I was transporting them from New York to Salt Lake City.
