Not Just for Christmas!

Today I want to highlight one of the kit products I love in the Holiday Catalog.  I've put together one of the cards from Merry Little Christmas Simply Created Card Kit found on pg. 27 so you could see the finished results using the instructions in the kit.  It coordinates with the Merry Little Christmas stamp set and is the perfect card done in a snap!  I love the color combination – Coastal Cabana, Gumball Green and Real Red. 

Here's what the kit looks like:

You receive all the consumable pieces you need to create 8 cards – pre-scored cardstock cards, die-cut designer series paper and cardstock accents, buttons, baker's twine and even envelopes with envelope liners!
 

Not ready to think about Christmas yet?  No problem – think outside the box!  This card kit can be used with other stamps to create cards for other occasions.  I combined the kit with two other stamp sets – the Best of Birthdays and Wishing You – to create a birthday card.  And even Wishing You stamp set is really a Christmas set – I just used the packages for birthday intstead.  I also added a Coastal Cabana cardstock circle behind the button.

Creative Tuesday and New Catalog Preview Event!

This month's Creative Tuesday classes are simply gorgeous!  And class is less than 2 weeks away – time to register!

As always there are TWO great class options this month.  Make lovely, springy cards you can use for many occasions with our Stamp-A-Stack class.  You'll love having these beauties on hand.  The second class is a class called "Mocha Morning card set.  You'll make 4 elegant cards and a card holder perfect for weddings, birthdays, sympathy, get well and more.

Creative Tuesday is EXTRA SPECIAL this month because it will also be a NEW CATALOG PREVIEW EVENT! All attendees will get the NEW 2012-2013 Annual Catalog EARLY before it goes live on June 1st — even more reason to sign up today!
