Today begins the first day of the Stampin’ Up! Online Extravaganza Sale, with today being the first of the Door Busters! I’m so thrilled with how this project turned out, and it’s so easy with the use of the new Stampin’ Up! product for creating boxes of all sizes.

If I “undress” my box, it looks like this. I love the way the box closes with the little sliding tab top.

But are you ready for the coolest part of it . . . This beautiful box goes together without any adhesive whatsoever! You’ll cut your cardstock to the size indicated on the chart that’s on the face of the Gift Box Punch Board then just follow the punching and scoring instructions. It couldn’t be easier! And what’s really great is that these boxes are big enough to really hold something! Sometimes boxes are just too small and aren’t that useable, but this is not the case here! My completed box measures 4″ x 4″ so I began with a piece of cardstock that was 12″ x 12″.

Now for the decorating!

You’ll want to have the Gift Bow Die for the Big Shot to make cute bows for all your boxes! This one’s cut with Soft Sky cardstock.
The tag’s created with the Merry Everything and Note Tag Punch – two products that are bundled together to save you 15%! It’s stamped in Old Olive ink, and there’s a cute Soft Sky button from the Nordic Designer Buttons at the bottom.
There are lots of fun fibers tied to this tag – Soft Sky 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon, Real Red 3/8″ Satin Woven Ribbon, Olive and Vanilla and White & Tangerine Tango Two-Tone Trim (yes – I pulled them apart and used the Olive and White together!) and White Baker’s Twine.
Did you notice the cute tone-on-tone stamping on the bottom of the box? That comes from Cheerful Tags stamp set found in the Holiday Catalog.
