Petite Pairs
One of the many things I love about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is receiving our monthly Stampin' Success magazine, fulled with lots of wonderful business tips, as well as fun stamping projects. Here's a card I copied out of the latest issue. I began with a Whisper White card stock base, and stamped the polka dot border from Borderlines in Old Olive Classic ink. The next strip was created by punching Melon Mambo card stock with the Lace Ribbon Border Punch then weaving in some Daffodil Delight 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon. Underneath that is a piece of designer paper in Daffodil Delight from the Flirtatious Specialty Designer Series Paper pack. The flower is created by punching 3 flowers from the Fancy Flowers Punch, using Dimensionals and stacking them together. Circle Circus stamp set created the Daffodil Delight border on the flower center, and I stamped the sentiment from Petite Pairs in Melon Mambo Classic Ink, then punched out with the 1-3/8" Circle Punch. So cute and quick!

Continuing with the Christmas Card Parade
Have you gotten the idea yet? Now's the time to formulate your plan for your Christmas cards and get to work! Won't your friends and family be impressed by your hand-made creations this year? Here are some more great ideas from The Heartfelt Stampers team of Stampin' Up! demonstrators.
This card is from Christine Luce who wanted to create a Christmas card with non-traditional Christmas colors. All images come from a cute little set in the Idea Book & Catalog called Sparkly & Bright. At $17.95, it contains lots of images and a greeting stamp and would be a very affordable choice to create darling cards and tags. Christine added lots of interest to her card — White Gel Pen colors in some of the snowflake points and the Scallop Circle Punch addes a fun border around her main image which contains lots of colored brads adorning the tree. Don't you just love how Stampin' Up! has color coordinated all of its products for that perfectly finished look? Here the brads match the ink and the card stock perfectly!
Next is also a card using non-traditional Christmas colors. Davina Allgrim chose the Serene Snowflakes stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog for this beauty. I love how she brought in shimmer using three coordinating products — Sliver Metallic Encore Pad for stamping the snowflakes, Brushed Silver card stock and silver Brads. The "Merry Christmas" greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. This fabulously useful set is designed to fit many of the Stampin' Up! punches, as you see here. Davina used the Word Window Punch to punch out her sentiment and then adhered it to an additional punch from the Scallop Oval Punch.
