Tres Chic Daisy
Here's a card you can send for almost any occasion.
This is a card where "the old meets the new". I hadn't used my Stampin' Pastels in forever AND I wanted to show you some more "smooching" with our brand new product Smooch Spritz. I began with a Tempting Turquoise card stock base, then a layer of Chocolate Chip card stock. I stamped a bit smaller piece of Whisper White card stock using Tres Chic background stamp and VersaMark Pad. I then applied the pastels over the entire image using a Sponge Dauber and More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise and Chocolate Chip Stampin' Pastels. The Corner Ticket Punch added a bit of interest. I added some 5/8" Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon and a daisy from the Pretties Kit. The center is created by punching More Mustard card stock with the 1" Circle Punch then attaching a 5/8" Chocolate Chip Neutrals Brad and adhering it to the flower with Dimensionals. The final touch is a couple of squirts of Log Cabin Smooch Spritz. Don't forget your Color Catcher!

Happy Retirement for Peg
My husband has worked for years with a wonderful woman who is retiring, and we attended her retirement party Friday evening. I knew this card had to be special! I've never seen Peg in any other color but red and she always looks like a million bucks. I think this card suits her well!
This card measures 5-1/4"x5-1/4" and begins with Basic Black card stock with Barely Banana card stock for the next layer, run through the Big Shot with the Finial Press Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The embossing folder is only 4-1/4" wide, so I added a strip of Whisper White card stock punched with the Eyelet Border Punch and decorated with some Real Red 5/8" Satin Ribbon and a large half-back pearl from the Pretties Kit. I stamped the sentiment from Well Scripted stamp set, and then I remembered that it's not available right now! I sure hope this one makes it into the new Idea Book & Catalog in July! The main stamped image is from Flower Fancy. I stamped it in Basic Gray then in Real Red Classic Ink then applied a thick coating of Crystal Effects. I pushed 3 small half-back pearls into the center and let it dry for at least a couple of hours.
I don't usually decorate the inside of my cards, but I thought this very special occasion warranted the time.
