Peaceful Pines Christmas card

Peaceful Pines

Stampin’ Up! has given us so many wonderfully bundles with coordinating stamp sets and framelits for the Big Shot.  And Peaceful Pines stamp set and Perfect Pines Framelits has to be one of my favorites in this year’s 2015 Holiday Catalog.  There are so many different uses for the tree images with really lovely coordinating images and five different sentiments.

We’re always looking for Christmas cards that we can mass produce, and this one is quick and easy with lots of interest.

  • I started with an Old Olive Cardstock card base and wrapped some Linen Thread around the spine three times, tying in a bow.
  • The Whisper White Cardstock has two strips of Season of Cheer Designer Washi Tape at the bottom.  There is a TON of tape per roll, and you’ll receive 5 different colors in this grouping.
  • Corner rounding a couple of the corners really adds interest and is super quick and easy with the Project Life by Stampin’ Up! Corner Punch.
  • Next comes some Burlap Ribbon that’s been trimmed down both edges and frayed a little.  On top of that is a piece of Early Espresso Cotton Ribbon.  Use Fast Fuse to adhere both of these pretty trims to your card.
  • The tree is stamped in Old Olive ink, cut out with the Perfect Pines Framelits and adhered with Dimensionals.  I did the same with the tree stand with Early Espresso ink.  The star on top is using the same framelits set (see, I told you there were tons of fun pieces!) and cutting out Gold Glimmer Paper.
