Swap for Leadership Conference

Getting ready to head out to the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference in San Antonio on January 17th – I leave on my birthday!  AND I'm going with my daughter who's birthday is the same day!  Wow – this will be a fun celebration!  Part of the fun of the conference is all of the swapping going on.  I've made 110 card fronts that I'll be trading with other top demonstrators from around the country (and Cananda!) and will be bringing all of those samples back to Rochester to share with my customers.  I'll also post some of my favorites on my blog.  For now, I wanted to share with you the swap I'll be bringing.  AND this is a sneak peek of Sale-A-Bration 2012 that will be starting on January 24th!  I'm featuring a new stamp set called Bordering on Romance that is in the Occasions Mini Catalog as well as some new designer paper called Everyday EnchantmentYou'll be able to take this gorgeous package of designer paper FREE with a $50 purchase beginning on January 24th!

Here is each swap separately.  I changed up the card base to coordinate better with the particular designer paper I was using.  I wanted to use more than one print.

This one is Riding Hood Red for the card base.

Here it is with an Early Espresso base.

And finally a Calypso Coral card base.

I can't decide which one I like best – leave me a comment below and tell me which one you vote for!

Occasions Mini Catalog and SAB Catalog now Online

Stampin' Up! has just released the new Sale-A-Bration Catalog, Occasions Mini Catalog and Definitely Decorative Update online.  Due to possible (slight) mailing delays of the Occasions Mini Catalog, Stampin' Up! has decided to share the catalogs with customers early!  While you can't begin to order from these terrific new catalogs until January 5th, you'll now have a chance to look through them and decide what you want!

Please be patient with the downloads — the Occasions Mini takes 7 minutes to open as a pdf file on my computer.

Over the past few years, there has been enormous demand for a line of repositionable clear-mount stamps. Well, you asked for it, and now you have it! Starting with stamps in the 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog and the 2010 Sale-A-Bration Brochure, Stampin′ Up! now offers our exclusive stamp art in both traditional wood-mount, and the new clear-mount option.  Demonstrators are now able to preorder these fabulous new stamps so that we're familiar with them before they are for sale to customers beginning January 5th.

Our new clear-mount stamps are the result of extensive research with the intent to maintain the very best image quality in the stamping industry, while at the same time offering the ease-of-use and storability inherent in repositionable clear-mount stamps.

Clear-Mount Features

  • Nine different sizes of clear blocks available individually or as a discounted bundle.
  • Blocks have ergonomic grooves on all four sides for easy grip and traditional wood-mount feel.

Brand New Punch Design from Stampin’ Up!

Starting with the new 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog and continuing with all new punch designs going forward, Stampin' Up! has adopted a new body style for our punches!  Customers can order these new punches beginning January 5th!

A few features of the new punch style:

  • Low-profile, rectangular punch body allows for easier stacking and storing
  • Punches lock shut for easier storage and transport
  • Dual labels on top and end allow for easy identification and selection when stored
  • Available in three sizes: small, medium, and extra-large
  • New punches allow for larger punched images and more intricate designs while providing greater ease of use.
    • Extra -large punch images also allow for two-step designs like the Two-Step Bird punch in the Occasions Mini Catalog
  • Corner punches allow you to punch a corner design along the inside edges of a page, not just corners
  • larger, whole-hand handle design provides better leverage for easier use
  • Available in an exclusive Stampin' Up! color

Part of Stampin' Up!'s commitment to providing customers with the very best crafting tools includes the belief in what we call continuous improvement — even if something works very well, but we see a chance to improve it, we will work to make it even better. While new punch designs will be in the new body style, existing designs will remain in the existing body style for now.
