Introducing the 2014-16 In Colors!

One of the many perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is to see brand new products well before the general public.  But I have a HUGE treat for you today!  I want to introduce you to the new 2014-16 In Color palette!  We’ll be working with these gorgeous colors for just 2 years, and I know you’ll fall in love with them!

From left to right, please meet Mossy Meadow, Lost Lagoon, Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss!  Now let’s look at them one by one!

MOSSY MEADOW – Not only am I tall, dark and handsome, but I’m rich too.  And I’m deep, which is the complete opposite of shallow.  All the other colors are green with envy.  I’m green without envy.

LOST LAGOON – I am calm and peaceful, and that’s hard to come by in this crazy world.  Maybe that’s why they call me lost.  Find me and I’ll soothe your soul.

TANGELO TWIST – I am bright and vibrant – some might say I’m a bit flamboyant.  Sometimes people confuse me with my cousin, Tangerine Tango, but I am truly my own kind of orange.  Try me and you’ll see.

HELLO HONEY – I’m sweet and subtle.  I won’t scream for your attention, but give me a chance and you’ll realize just how much I have to offer.  Soon you’ll see I’m as good as gold.

BLACKBERRY BLISS – I am deep and rich, sweet and juicy.  Plus, I’m purple, and who doesn’t need more purple in their lives?  You know you want me.

Believe

Here's a pretty card we made at out recent Heartfelt Stampers Team Christmas party.  It's a simple card, but has a few "wow" factors.

Snowflake Soiree stamp set is still a favorite, even though it didn't make it into the Holiday Catalog this year.   It's still available!
Pretty color scheme is Island Indigo, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive.  "Believe" is stamped with the Gold Metallic Pad.
Use Shimmer White Cardstock for an extra added look of elegance.
Who doesn't love our Cherry Cobbler Ribbon this season!  I've sold buckets of it!
Attach a small Rhinestone to the "i" in "Believe".

New Stampin’ Up! Rotary Addition

Look closely at the three strips of cardstock down the left side of the card.  They've all been cut with the brand new Small Scallop Stampin' Trimmer Rotary Cutting Blade used with the Rotary Addition to the Stampin' Trimmer.

• Color scheme is Smoky Slate, Pistachio Pudding, Strawberry Slush and Daffodil Delight.
• I brought back an oldie but goodie stamp set for this card – Embellished Events.  This is a great all-purpose set, with 6 image stamps and 6 sentiments included.
• Love the arrow paperclip from Cute Clips package, tied up with coordinating ribbons.

A Trio of Thanks

Thinking of you on Mother’s Day

With only a little over two weeks to go before the new Annual Catalog is released, I thought I'd give you a little sneak peek today of some new products being introduced!  Here is a portion of the Gingham Garden Suite, sure to be a favorite this year.  I made this card for my daughter and daughters-in-law for Mother's Day, but it would work for many occasions.

• The new stamp set featured is Kind & Cozy – lots of country-feeling images including my favorite (which I didn't even use!) which is a cute little tea cup.
• The Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper contains Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Night of Navy, Pear Pizzazz (yes, it's back!) and Whisper White – so bright and cheerful!
• You're going to FLIP when you see the new Candy Dots – a brad system that has every permanent color we carry in adhesive tops.  Use any color Candy Dot on a Brad Base for a framed colored brad, or just use the Dots on their own.  Here I've used an Island Indigo Dot from the Regals Pack.
• White Baker's Twine looks good with this suite.
• Daffodil Delight card stock and the Scallop Trim Border Punch pair to create a nice edge.

Don't forget a little envelope art.  Kind & Cozy has the perfect images for this!  There's even a "made with love" stamp I've used for the back of my card.

And I decorated the inside with a Whisper White card stock liner and some more stamping.
