In Color Comparison

I'm sharing some cards today created by my team member Pat Miller to showcase the new In Colors and to give you a comparison of the new color to some of the existing core colors.

First up is Baked Brown Sugar.  You'll see it's between Crumb Cake and Soft Suede.  It has a lot of gold tones in it – a really good addition!

IC Baked Brown Sugar

Next is Coastal Cabana sandwiched between a brand new core color, Bermuda Bay, and Pool Party.  It's a very green blue and now probably my favorite blue we have.

IC Costal Cabana

Introducing Crisp Cantaloupe!  This is paired with Blushing Bride and Calypso Coral.  In my mind, this is a much-needed color – we really don't have anything like this at all.

IC Crisp Cantaloupe

Now for Pistachio Pudding.  I find this color incredibly hard to photograph for some reason.  The picture below just doesn't do it justice.  It doesn't have as much gray in it as shown in the photo – a very nice light green.  You'll find it between Pear Pizzazz, another new core color, and Wild Wasabi.

IC Pistachio Pudding

Last up is Strawberry Slush!  I thought it was almost the same color as Melon Mambo (to the right) but you'll notice it has more yellow in it than Mambo.  It's a nice, bright pink but not too bright!  Rose Red is to its left.

The new 2013-15 In Colors are sure to be some of your favorite colors to work with!  They're fresh, fun and very different from other colors we carry.
