Inspiration in a Kleenex Box?
Have you ever been in a store only to see a simple item on the shelf that makes you think "there's my next card idea"? C'mon, you know who you are! I can't be the only one with this obsession! I'll show you my card first then the inspiration for it.
The card begins with Rich Razzleberry card stock, then a layer of Basic Black. I stamped the image from True Friends stamp set several times all over a background of Very Vanilla card stock using Staz-On Black Ink, then colored them in with Tempting Turquoise, Taken with Teal, Dusty Durango, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Elegant Eggplant Stampin' Write Markers. Just look at how heavenly these colors look all together!
With the background finished, I didn't want to do much else with the card! I made a flat bow out of Old Olive 5/8" Satin Ribbon and a simple tag using Oval All stamp set backed with a Basic Black Scallop Oval.
