Snapshot and Flashback

Snapshot and Flashback

I love going to the Stampin’ Up! Inspire Create Share event (formerly known as Convention) for so many reasons.  And one of the reasons is all of the loot I come home with!  Here’s a picture of me packing to come home and all that I had to figure out how to put in my suitcase!

Loot from Convention_edited-1

Isn’t that crazy?!  So many wonderful Stampin’ Up! products completely free!  And tucked in there somewhere is the single stamp called Snapshot – the cute camera that is great for both card making and scrapbooking.  I’ve paired it with Flashback Designer Series Paper, as well as the sentiment from Hip Notes stamp set.

Here’s another project I created using Flashback DSP – you’ll want to pick up some today (July 31st) before the DSP sale is over!

I used my Aqua Painter and Crushed Curry Stamp Pad to color in the camera.

Pool Party 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon and a Real Red Candy Dot are all the accessories you need for this quick and easy card.

You might have noticed how glossy and 3-D the center of the camera lens is.  That’s because I used a big ole blob of Crystal Effects in the center to give it dimension and shine.  It took a while to dry, but I think this easy addition packs a wow.

Hip Notes meets new In Colors

Hip Notes

Here’s another peek at the new 2014-16 In Colors that will be released June 2nd!  If you missed my previous post, here is another look at them.  It’s also a fun way to use the sweet little set called Hip Notes in the Occasions Catalog – purchase this great stamp set before the end of May, because it’ll be unavailable after that!

  • In order of appearance are the new In Colors – Hello Honey, Tangelo Twist, Lost Lagoon and Blackberry Bliss.  And the fifth new In Color is featured in our scrumptious new ribbon, Mossy Meadow.
  • Even with the advent of clear-mount stamps, I still use my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig all the time!  It’s a snap to create stacked images like this one and line up everything perfectly.
  • You’re going to LOVE the new punch trio called Itty Bitty Accents – it contains this sweet little flower, as well as a star and heart.  I used some tiny Rhinestones for the centers.

That leads me into some fantastic news!  I’ll be doing another In Color Club this year!  This is your chance to get ALL of the new 2014-16 In Color products over 5 months without breaking the bank!  Each month you’ll receive all of the products in one color, including markers, stamp pad, ink refill, cardstock, ribbon and embellishment, which this year are cute little printed clothespins!  I also throw in some “extras” as a thank you for participating!  I’ll be posting this information just as soon as possible, but for now, let me know if you want in!
