Elegant Soiree Simple Thanks
Lately, it seems like simple is better! Instead of not sending a thank you card because I can't find the time to make one, I'm keeping my thank you's a little easier and mailing out lots of them! This one is proof that you don't have to get fancy to have a beautiful result! Layering the Very Vanilla card stock creates a classy effect. I've used Elegant Soiree Designer Series Paper then a strip of Very Vanilla card stock punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch. The sentiment is stamped in Baja Breeze Classic Ink with the "thanks" stamp from Perfect Punches. What a fabulous stamp set this is! Enjoy 6 different stamps that all line up with a different punch! In this case, I've used the Scallop Oval Punch. There's even one for Christmas! This set is such a good investment!

Back to stamping – finally!
I've been in my new house now for 17 short days! There's still a lot to do, but I just had to take the time this morning to create! My stamping studio is coming along nicely and I'll be adding some final storage units that are due to arrive later today. I'll be posting pictures of my completed studio soon! One thing that's very different about my new location is that there isn't a lot of natural light. I'm in the woods and in the lower level of the house, so taking pictures with good lighting is going to be a challenge!
My card today begins with a bright, fun color scheme — Wild Wasabi, So Saffron, Perfect Plum and Pumpkin Pie. I used the For Everything stamp set for all of the images and the Fabulous Phrases stamp set for the sentiment. TIP: This stamp set is "fabulous" for putting together your very own customized saying, especially if you purchase it in clear mount. Just combine several of the words in the saying onto one clear block and stamp once! This is a terrific feature of the clear mount system! Our new Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border is so versatile! Use complete strips like I did here in Perfect Plum, or tuck them behind a solid piece of card stock to see just the edging like I did here with the Pumpkin Pie edge. Pumpkin Pie Brads from the Brights Brads collection top off the cute flower centers.
