Join us for an amazing weekend of creativity at the Finger Lakes Casino & Racetrack in Farmington, NY!
 
The Creative Escape is whatever YOU want it to be! A Scrapbook Crop, Stamping & Card making fun, a time to get caught up on Digital Scrapbooking… bring WHATEVER creative projects you're working on and settle in for some quality time to create!  

We are so excited to be partnering with a facility that will help us put on a weekend you won't forget. Our creative space is our very own private floor, with easy elevator access to the main floor. Our room is made up of ceiling to floor windows overlooking the race track – you're in for a view! Each table also has its very own TV with basic stations, easy access to electrical outlets and WiFi.

Want to do your "own thing"? Go ahead and move in for the weekend! We even have a valet unloading service on Saturday Morning to help.

Don't want to pack up all of your crafting supplies? You don't have to! With access to nearly the entire catalog, dozens of display items and your fully loaded product bundle, you can keep your packing light and just bring your supply basics (adhesive, scissors, etc.) and use all that WE pack!

You can do nothing but craft all weekend! Or, you can take a break here and there to enjoy the other amenities the Casino has to offer, including but not limited to: slots, live music and a full service bar.

As if that isn't enough, you are going to eat WELL this weekend!!! Your registration includes a full beverage service and all you can eat buffets around the clock! With 120 menu options, there is something for everyone… even prime rib at dinner, and decadent desserts!

You are welcome to commute. Or, you can stay close to the excitement at the hotel across from the Casino under our reserved room block – Comfort Inn and Suites. The hotel has a complementary continental breakfast for their guests as well as an indoor swimming pool. You can book your hotel stay directly with the hotel at 585-742-0182. Includes your own creative space and access to the Lending Library from 9 am on Saturday until 5 pm on Sunday. This package also includes a $50 product bundle, 2 gifts, entries into 2 days of door prizes, full beverage service, 2 all you can eat lunch buffets and 1 all you can eat dinner buffet.

Registration Package B:
Includes your own creative space and access to the Lending Library from 9 am – midnight on Saturday. This package also includes a $50 product bundle, 1 gift, entries into 1 day of door prizes, full beverage service, 1 all you can eat lunch buffet and 1 all you can eat dinner buffet.
Cost: $130 by 6/10 or $140 from 6/10-6/24

Registration Package C:
Includes your own creative space and access to the Lending Library from 9 am – 5 pm on Sunday. This package also includes a $50 product bundle, 1 gift, entries into 1 day of door prizes, full beverage service and 1 all you can eat lunch buffet.
Cost: $112 by 6/10 or $122 from 6/10-6/24
 

Class in a Boxes:

There are 3 "Class in a Box!" offerings and to participate, all you have to do is pre-pay for the classes that you want to complete. When you arrive, you will receive your packets for these classes along with your product bundle and you can complete your class ANY TIME throughout the ENTIRE weekend! This way, you don't have to worry about a schedule, time, or being away from your friends. When you're ready to take the "Class in a Box!" you'll just rent out the class box from the Lending Library (there will be several boxes available) and inside the box will be step by step instructions and everything you need to complete your projects! These classes are offered at a low rate just for Creative Escape attendees!  

Displays, Lending Library & Shopping Nook:
Use your product bundles however you want!  You'll be given wonderful supplies to incorporate into your scrapbook pages or cards as you choose.  There will also be lots of ideas on display for you to copy – both scrapbook pages and cards will be posted.  NEW this session, there will be a PDF instructional file to make copying the display boards easier!  In addition, you'll have access to the Lending Library throughout the entire weekend to use all of our stamp sets, ink pads, punches, Big Shot & dies and all other tools! Your creativity will have no bounds with access to most of the catalog! You'll also want to be sure to have cash for the Shopping Nook where you'll be able to purchase accessories, ribbon by the yard, paper by the sheet and more.

Register for February’s Creative Escape!

Are you registered for Creative Escape in February? There is less than One Week Left to Register at the Early Bird Pricing! The Early Bird pricing is for registrations that are paid in full.  If you've made only your $25 deposit to save your spot, you'll want to pay your remaining balance by next Monday, January 14th, to save $10! We have an ALL NEW optional class offering for you at this Escape session! We're thrilled to announce "Class in a Box!" There are 3 "Class in a Box!" offerings (scrapbooking, card making and 3-D goodies) and to participate, simply pre-pay for the classes that you want to complete. When you arrive, you will receive your packets for these classes along with your product bundle, and you're free to complete your class ANY TIME throughout the ENTIRE weekend! This way, you don't have to worry about a schedule, time, or being away from your friends. When you're ready to take the "Class in a Box!" you'll just rent out the class box from the Lending Library (there will be several boxes available) and inside the box will be step-by-step instructions and everything you need to complete your projects! For those wanting one-on-one instruction, there will be "Class in a Box Spotlights" throughout the weekend.  You'll be able to see a live demo on how to complete the projects before borrowing the Class in a Box to make them. These classes are offered at a low rate just for Creative Escape attendees!  

NEW – Hands-On My Digital Studio Session:

Do you have MDS downloaded on your computer? Are you looking for some more hands-on help in using the program? Bring your laptop along with you to this all-new, hands-on, FREE help session! There will still be a MDS 101 Class on Saturday for those who don't have it yet or are BRAND new to the software. Then on Sunday, take advantage of this help session and work with an instructor to answer your questions and show live demonstrators on a big screen, answering the "Most Frequently Asked" questions.

NEW – My Digital Studio Product Bundle Option:

Are you a MDS enthusiast? Would you rather receive Digital Downloads instead of the traditional product bundle? You've got it! You can opt to receive a $50 MDS Content Bundle instead of the standard product bundle that comes with Creative Escape Registration.

Our February Escape is during a time where our block pricing is the lowest of the year, so it's the cheapest time for you to stay with rooms starting at just $79.90. Hotel room blocks are only held through January 16th. After that, the price goes up $10. You can book your hotel stay directly with the hotel at 585-742-0182.

"Class in a Box!" Registration

Scrapbooking Class in a Box – $15: Includes a complete "For the Record Simply Scrappin' Layout Kit" ($11.83 value, pg. 9 of the new Spring Catalog) with additional accessories to take it a "step up!" You'll complete 2, 12" x 12" pages (a complete spread). The samples and instructions in the box will be for alternative pages from the ones shown in the Spring Catalog. Since you're working on this class right at your crafting spot, you can alter it and change it up however you want to work with the photos you brought along with you!

Card Class in a Box – $15: Includes a complete "Artisan Embellishments Kit" ($11.83 value, pg. 10 of the new Spring Catalog) in addition to all of the pre-cut cardstock pieces to complete an assortment of cards! The samples and instructions in the box will use this kit and all of the pre-cut supplies so you won't need anything else (except your adhesive and scissors!)

3-D Class in a Box – $20: Includes a complete "Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit" ($15.39 value, pg. 18 of the new Spring Catalog) – this kit even comes with an exclusive stamp!!!! You'll also receive the additional pre-cut card stock pieces to complete an assortment of 3-D items. You'll go home with extra supplies after this class since the kit is so loaded!

Creative Escape Registration Now OPEN!

Registration is now LIVE for our October Creative Escape! This is a weekend you will NOT want to miss…. our first one was held this past June and a HUGE success! We received nothing but rave review, and many attendees have told us they're coming back and bringing friends — a good sign of everyone having fabulous time and feeling that it was a great value!

And our second Creative Escape is going to be even bigger and better!  We're moving into a larger space and we'll have our own FLOOR!

Creative Escape Break-Out Classes & More!

I hope you are getting excited for Creative Escape coming up on June 23rd and 24th!

One of the things that sets Creative Escape apart from other crops and/or retreats is that attendees have the option to sign up for break-out classes at a reduced cost (an approx. $15 discount per class!)

We have 5 classes lined up for this weekend; registration for these classes is open for 1 week — until Tuesday June 12th. These classes are pre-pay and product based, so you are getting product for your money.

• Saturday at Noon: Afternoon Daydream, Cost: $25 — This class includes an ENTIRE "Afternoon Daydream Simply Scrappin Kit" ($26.08 value alone!) in addition to other consumable supplies (cardstock, ribbon and embellishments) for the designs featured in the class. At this class, you will be able to make either scrapbook pages or cards — your choice! You will use 1/2 of the kit during the class, and then 1/2 of the kit left over to make MORE creations, either during Creative Escape or at home!

• Saturday at 4 pm: My Digital Studio for Beginners, Cost: FREE — This hour-long class includes learning all of the basics on My Digital Studio — Stampin' Up!'s computer-based design system. You do not have to own My Digital Studio to take this class. You can bring your laptop with My Digital Studio already loaded and follow along. Or, just attend the class and watch and listen. Note: You can download a FREE trial of My Digital Studio before you arrive at Creative Escape so that you can "test drive" it while you are at the retreat with help and guidance! • Saturday at 8 pm: Betsy's Blossom Explosion Album, Cost: $15 –This class will lead you through making an explosion album with the bright colors of the ever-popular Betsy's Blossom Designer Paper. You don't have to be a scrapbooker to enjoy this class since it's a stand-alone mini album — perfect for a gift or to keep! You will receive 1/2 a pack of Betsy's Blossom Designer Paper and 1/2 a package of Paper Daisies at this class ($10.12 value alone!) in addition to all sorts of other consumables to adorn your album, and all of the necessary cardstock. You won't use all of the paper and daisies during the class, so will have left overs to make MORE creations, either during Creative Escape or at home!

• Sunday at 9 am: Bandstand, Cost: $25 –This class includes an ENTIRE "Bandstand Simply Scrappin Kit" ($26.08 value alone!) in addition to other consumable supplies (cardstock, ribbon and embellishments) for the designs featured in the class. At this class, you will be able to make either scrapbook pages or cards — your choice! You will use 1/2 of the kit during the class, and 1/2 of the kit will be left over to make MORE creations, either during Creative Escape or at home!

• Sunday at 1 pm: Intermediate My Digital Studio, Cost: FREE — This hour-long class will bypass all of the basics on My Digital Studio and delve more into capabilities and functionality.  To take this class, it is best that you either take the Saturday Beginner's Class first OR have had experience with My Digital Studio already at home as basics will not be explained.
