Guest Designer and Fun Layout

Remember this fun layout and workshop card I posted HERE?  One of my fabulous customers, Phyl Lyons of Seneca Falls, NY, attended the workshop and emailed me the following three cards she made using the same layout.  I thought you might like to see how you can take any card and duplicate the layout but use different stamps and colors.  The result is a completely different looking card!

The card above uses Plane & Simple, a great stamp set in the Occasions Mini Catalog perfect for Father's Day in June.  Item No. 121903 in wood mount $21.95; Item No. 121964 in clear mount $16.95.

I'm sure you'll recognize our "beloved" Bliss stamp set – the darling of the Sale-A-Bration promotion!  Unfortunately, Bliss is no longer available, but a good substitute would be Elements of Style Item No. 118611 wood mount $27.95 or Item No. 120045 clear mount $19.95 OR Notably Ornate Item No. 117098 wood mount $23.95 or Item No. 120561 clear mount $17.95

Here Phyl used Because I Care, the hottest Level 1 stamp set I've seen since becoming a demonstrator!  All my hostesses love this gorgeous set.  You can't purchase it but can earn it FREE by hosting or making a purchase of $150.  Item No. 118384 wood mount or Item No. 120118 clear mount.

Sophisticated Sheila

Oooh la la!  Sheila Edwards is stampin' in style!  I received this gorgeous card congratulating me on my Sr. Manager promotion.  It is tres chic with a black, white and Cherry Cobbler color scheme.  Sheila got the intense black background by heat embossing the image from Bliss stamp set.  She even cut out the beautiful butterfly and popped it up on dimensionals.  The little pearl accents and seam binding ribbon are perfect for this dressy card.  I feel so special – thanks, Sheila!

Some beauties!

Here are some gorgeous cards I've been fortunate enough to have received over the past several months.  Thought I'd share them with you today.

This first card is from my upline and daughter Aly Schilling congratulating me on my #1 Top Sales award for the month of January.  I love Aly's use of the three rhinestones on the beautiful tone-on-tone design from Bliss Sale-A-Bration stamp set.  She also used a piece of Hodgepodge Hardware which coordinates with the Hodgepodge Happiness stamp set.  A touch of Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Seam Binding held in with Rhinestone Brads just makes this card!  And the delicate border is done using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch.

This next card was sent to me by fellow team member and special friend, Jen Rios-Raner.  I lost my beloved Sayj back in October, and Jen created this special card for me.  Sayj was a golden retriever, hence the "golden" dog image in the center – stamped with VersaMark and embossed with gold embossing powder.  There are so many points of interest to this work of art!  I love the simulated dog collar using Early Espresso 5/8" Satin Ribbon with the Gold Eyelets and then attaching a monogram "S" for Sayj along with the punched heart.  Thank you, Jen, for helping me smile!

The final card I'd like to share with you is from Missy Shipman congratulating me on my promotion to Sr. Manager.  Missy used the Pretty Petals background stamp, along with A Flower For All Seasons and So Happy For You, a Sale-A-Bration free stamp set, for the greeting.  I love Missy's added touch with Linen Thread and a button – so pretty.  Thank you, Missy!

Receive your choice of Bliss, Hodgepodge Happiness, A Flower For All Seasons, So Happy For You and more FREE during Sale-A-Bration.  But hurry – this unbelievable promotion ends March 30th!

New Petal Cone Die for Big Shot

How gorgeous is the new Stampin' Up! Petal Cone Die for the Big Shot!  Your next party will be a hit when you give favors and gifts in this fun petal cone!  Use the banner to label your gift and the scalloped half-circle as an accent for the petal flaps.  It's just in time for Valentine's Day!  I've paired this great die with an equally great stamp set – Bliss – which is one of the items you can earn free during Sale-A-Bration beginning January 25th.  Each purchase of $50 earns you a free product!  The banner is stamped using some of the Bliss stamps as well as a sentiment from Vintage Vogue.  There's lots of sponging using a Stamping Sponge and Early Espresso Classic Ink and a Jewels Rhinestone to dress things up even more.
