Betsy’s Blossoms Thank You
You're in for a super treat today, ladies! My team member Kristin made this gorgeous card, and I'm excited to share it with you. Imagine my delight when I got this beauty in the mail! Kristin made great use of the new Apothecary Accents Framelits designed for use with the Big Shot. She stamped the two flower motifs from Betsy's Blossoms stamp set on the background. The next two layers were texturized with the the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I asked Kristin to explain how she was able to get two different sizes of the same image and here's her tip: "To layer the framelit piece I just cut the same size twice using 2 different colored card stocks and the Big Shot. I embossed both pieces then cut one of them in half, horizontally, and adhered each half to the piece that was intact to make it look like a frame/layer." So clever! Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon and Rhinestones are terrific accessories!

More of the new In Colors
Two of my favorite products combine for this cute little box – Betsy's Blossoms stamp set and coordinating Betsy's Blooms Standard Wheel and the new In Colors for 2012-14. I put this project together for my quarterly Stamp & Chat with my team of demonstrators.
- You'll love how the bold images from Betsy's Blossoms stamp with the new stamp pads!
- All the new In Colors are represented here – Midnight Muse, Primrose Petal, Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green and Summer Starfruit.
- Base of the box in Primrose Petal is die cut with the Big Shot and the Fancy Favors Die.
- Summer Starfruit patterned paper creates the belly band and can be found in Patio Party designer paper, or purchase the In Color Designer Paper Stack.
- Linen Thread works nicely with the bird image – very natural kinda like nest material!
- 1/8" Mini Brad in Silver is perfect for the bird's eye.
- Mounting the Midnight Muse image on chipboard makes it more substantial.
And inside the box is a darling set of 3"x3" note cards perfect for gift enclosures. Each is paired with our 3"x3" envelope and shows off our coordinating new 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon.
