Some “left over” Valentines!

Gosh, where did Valentine's Day go?  I thought I had forever to get all of my Valentine's ideas out there. Sad to say that it's time to stop!  But just a couple more, please!  Here are the valentines I made especially for my four grandbabies.

All of the cards use the stamp set Whoo's Your Valentine.  If you have young ones in your life, or if you're just young at heart, you may want to purchase this darling stamp set and put it away for next year.  You could also use the images without the sayings for birthdays and other occasions.

This card is for Jackson — the youngest of my clan at just 2 months old.  I borrowed the branch from Cheep Talk stamp set for the cute little Valentines owl to sit upon.  When I mounted the owl and the saying, I cut them apart so that I could mount them separately and use them with or without each other.  The designer papers come from the Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper Pad Welcome Neighbor that is free with a $50 purchase.  I added some scrumptious 3/4" Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon.  I love that this is two sided.  When all the ribbon being polka dots is too much for your card, you can just use the other side that is beautifully stitched in white down both sides!  The image is colored in with Stampin' Write Markers, and the color scheme is Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry and Old Olive.

Next is a darling train card for both of the bigger boys — Liam age 2 and Landon age 10 mos.  I got the color scheme from the heart designer paper, again from the Welcome Neighbor paper pad.  It's Bermuda Bay, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red.  I colored in the train with my Stampin' Write Markers and added a Red Corduroy Button for interest.

And finally, here's a card for the little Princess of the family, Quinn.  She's my only chance to use "girly" colors, so my color scheme is Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink and Eggplant Envy.  The heart stamp is from Priceless stamp set and is stamped in Melon Mambo Classic Ink.  The sentiment comes from Teeny Tiny Wishes and is stamped in Eggplant Envy Classic Ink then punched out with the Modern Label Punch.  I didn't have any Melon Mambo brads, so I used the circles from the grid on the Mat Pack and colored them in with a Melon Mambo Stampin' Write Marker, then mounted the piece on Dimensionals.  I tied snips of different matching ribbons to the sucker stick — Melon Mambo Polka Dot Grosgrain, Pretty in Pink Grosgrain and the Elegant Eggplant rick-rack from the Orchard Ribbon Originals.
