Just Because
Here are some great products that are in the 2013-14 Annual Catalog but are also carrying into the 2014-15 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. You’re able to purchase all of these products now, but if you need to wait a little bit, you can also purchase most of them after June 2nd. It’s a quick & easy card, with very few steps and a nice, clean look.
- I love using a double layer of Whisper White cardstock to set off the look of an easy card. Be sure to set the top layer apart by using lots of Dimensionals. I don’t use Sahara Sand much for a neutral, but I think I’m going to start – it was the perfect color! I cut the Sahara Sand cardstock rectangle using my Stampin’ Trimmer with the Rotary Addition and the Scallop Cutting Blade. It creates a nice delicate edge to all four sides.
- The flower is created with three punches – Blossom Punch for the largest, Pansy Punch for the Daffodil Delight layer and a 3/4″ Circle Punch for the center. You’ll find the designer papers in the following packets – Tangerine Tango from the Brights Collection Paper Stack, Daffodil Delight from Quatrefancy Specialty papers (which is retiring June 1st) and the Pacific Point polka dot, also from the Brights Collection Paper Stack.
- I use A Dozen Thoughts stamp set so much, and the “just because” sentiment is one of my favorites. You can see this versatile set used in a get well card HERE.
- Candy Dots have become my “go to” accessory – they’re easy to use, very affordable and travel well in an envelope. These are all from the Brights Collection Candy Dots.
