Convention 2012 and Reinking Firm Foam Stamp Pads

I'm home from Convention and wow, was it quite the experience!  I had a really great year, thanks to my fabulous customers and downline, and I was awarded the following honors:

  • Pin for Recruiting efforts at Level 1
  • Pin and monetary award for Leadership efforts at Level 3
  • Pin for sales of over $30,000 this year
  • Pin for earning the Grand Vacation to Fiji
  • Monetary award for the Achiever's Bonus
  • Pin for being with Stampin' Up! 5 years
  • Pin and monetary award for achieving $100,000 in sales
  • . . . and . . . I earned Founder's Circle for the first time!  This is an award for placing in the Top 100 demonstrators in the company!  In September, I'll be treated to an all-expense paid vacation in St. George, Utah, with time to relax by the pool, shop and enjoy good food and especially good company.  We're even attending a performance of Hairspray.  I also earned this beautiful bag.

Here's what my name badge looked like by the time I picked up all of my awards!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my Stampin' Up! business.  I certainly couldn't do any of it without you!  I'm so blessed to be able to say that Stampin' Up! is my full-time job, and I love every minute of it!

Now on to a really great tip I learned while at Convention.  With the release of our new firm foam stamp pads, you'll need to reink a bit more frequently.  I was having trouble with the reinking process looking spotty.  While at the product demonstration booth, I learned that reinking can be really easy if you know how to do it!  Just add a few lines of reinker to your stamp pad – be careful not to over ink the pad.  Then take your bone folder and run it over the pad back and forth to work the ink into the pad.  This works like a charm!  You might like to order a second bone folder to have on hand for this process and keep a nice clean one for folding your card stock.  Wipe it off with a baby wipe when you're through.

When ordering your new stamp pads, be sure to add on a coordinating ink refill for just $2.95.  You'll be glad you have it when you need it!
