Congratulations to my Team Members – October 2011

A sincere "From the Heart Stampers" congratulations goes out to the top sales people on my team for the month of October!  We also had an AMAZING month with 12 new team members joining our group in October (and 4 more in November)!  You ladies rock!  And here's the special card I made them.

With the pretty prints in the Timeless Portrait Designer Series Paper, it's easy to create beautiful color combinations!  Here I've used River Rock, Cherry Cobbler and Not Quite Navy.  Although the suggested color for the designer paper is Island Indigo, the darker shade of blue gives this card a more vintage look.  I've also used a snip of Newsprint Designer Series Paper sponged with Crumb Cake Classic Ink.  Sentiment is from Perfectly Penned and includes some Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon.  Don't forget a bit of bling with Rhinestones!

Item No. 122890 Perfectly Penned wood $16.95 OR
Item No. 122892 Perfectly Penned clear $12.95
Item No. 122352 Timeless Portrait Designer Series Paper $10.95
Item No. 121878 First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper $12.95
Item No. 119246 Basic Rhinestone Jewels $4.95
Item No. 120992 Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon

In October, I was pleased to welcome 12 new lovely ladies to my Stampin' Up! team of From the Heart Stampers!  And so far in November, 4 more ladies have joined us!  Here's a special card I made to send to each of them.  It starts with Wisteria Wonder card stock and Berry Blossoms Designer Series Paper.  Corner rounding with our 3/16" Corner Punch can really perk up a card!  The little flower is one of my most used punches – Boho Blossoms.  With three different sized flower choices, it always seems perfect for any card!  In the center is a Lucky Limeade Designer Printed Brad – oh, so pretty!  And another great punch – Decorative Label Punch – frames the sentiment from Workshop Words stamp set very nicely.  The final accent is Wisteria Wonder 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon – yum!

Item No. 122350 Berry Blossoms Designer Series Paper $10.95
Item No. 119871 3/16" Corner Punch $6.95
Item No. 119858 Boho Blossoms Punch $16.95
Item No. 122940 Designer Printed Brads $7.95
Item No. 120907 Decorative Label Punch $16.95
Item No. 122973 Wisteria Wonder 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon $9.95

Still more Christmas cards!

Here are the last couple of Christmas card swaps I have to show off!  This is an "oldie but goodie" stamp set called Loads of Love.  It's been around quite awhile, but it's still a wonderful stamp set.  Pat S. created this as her very first ever swap as a new demonstrator – so nice!

And here's a darling card by Kim K., also a brand new member on my From the Heart Stampers Team.  She used Polar Party stamp set, along with some gorgeous Silver Glimmer Paper and the Northern Flurry Textured Embossing Folder.  So pretty!

More from Oktoberfest Retreat Weekend

I began posting about our Heartfelt Stampers' retreat weekend HERE.  Today, I'll show you some of the adorable gifts and goodies we all received for coming.

Here are some of the treats that everyone who attended received.  Everything was in keeping with the circus theme.

This was a little note card that accompanied a cookie made from Stampin' Up!'s new Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps – it was packaged in a cello bag with a pretty red bow on top, but I ate it!  Am I terrible?  I didn't even wait to snap a photo!

Here is our second pillow gift.  Notice the darling tag made from Under The Big Top stamp set.  And look at that gorgeous Red Glimmer Paper punched out for the bar bells!  It also uses a Mini Clothespin to keep the bag shut.  And inside was some ruffled ribbon.

I showed you a picture before of our amazing popcorn popper – well, here are the containers we used to dish it up!  The popcorn motif was created from the Cupcake Builder Punch, as well as a punch from Itty Bitty Punch Pack.  So clever!

And here's the card I received for my sales for the month of September.  Love this idea of creating a circus tent!  It's made by punching lots of card stock pieces from the Word Window Punch and another image from the Under the Big Top stamp set.

I bet you're wondering how YOU can join us for our next retreat!  There couldn't be a better time than right now!

GET A FREE BIG SHOT OR $100 IN FREE PRODUCTS as a BONUS with the Stampin' Up! Starter Kit.  October only!  The $175 Starter Kit and Product Bonus are valued at $440 and shipping is FREE! That's a 60% savings!  Check out the details HERE!

Oktoberfest Retreat

Once a year, our team of Heartfelt Stampers holds a weekend retreat.  We rent a lodge on Canandaigua Lake in the Finger Lakes area of New York State and meet to relax, enjoy getting to know our team members better, eat wonderful food, laugh and of course stamp!  I took a few pictures, but once the fun begins, I seem to forget about my camera!

This year was a circus theme to take advantage of Stampin' Up!'s Big Top product suite.  We had a huge kitchen to work with, and everyone contributed food for the weekend.  Needless to say, we ate like queens!

We had an authentic carnival popcorn popper with popcorn available all weekend, plus snacks like animal crackers and peanuts.

One section of the lodge is reserved for eating.  Brightly colored tablecloths and cute pinwheel centerpieces fit right in!

Here's a close-up of the centerpieces using Stampin' Up! ribbon, designer paper, card stock and buttons!

I'll continue to show you Oktoberfest pillow gifts and projects in the days to come!

5 Years with Stampin’ Up!

September marks my 5th year anniversary with Stampin' Up! and to celebrate, I received this beauty from downline team member Nicole Bertrand.  Isn't it gorgeous!  I love her use of all the 2011-12 In Colors combined – Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Lucky LImeade and Island Indigo.  The sentiment is from Curly Cute stamp set and the pretty border is punched with the new Lace Ribbon Border Punch.  The flower is a single stamp called Triple Treat Flower.  Stamp three times in three different colors, and use three of Stampin' Up!'s punches to create this layered effect.  You'll want to order the following:

Item No. 122909 Triple Treat Flower $8.95
Item No. 118073 Fancy Flower Punch $16.95
Item No. 119880 5-Petal Flower Punch $16.95
Item No. 119869 1/2" Circle Punch $5.95
Item No. 122362 Lace Ribbon Border Punch $19.95
