Happy Easter Vases

There's less than three weeks left of this year's Sale-A-Bration sale event.  Today I want to show you a couple of the free gifts you can choose with each $50 purchase.

  • The Sweet Sorbet designer paper is so pretty!  It really says "Spring" to me.  It's the perfect color scheme for Easter, too.  The large piece of background paper is from this packet, as well as creating all of the vases.  Just stamp with Vivid Vases stamp, once on a piece of "good" paper then stamp on each of the prints and cut them out with Paper Snips. I adhered some of the vases with SNAIL and a couple with Dimensionals.
  • The Summer Starfruit Twine is another Sale-A-Bration free gift, along with twines in Crisp Cantaloupe, Pool Party, and some cute cork accents.  They're all designed to coordinate perfectly with the Sweet Sorbet designer paper.
  • "Happy Easter" comes from Delightful Dozen stamp set.  I love this set because it contains stamps for many holidays that I wouldn't normally purchase in a full set.  I can turn my "non-holiday" stamp sets into ones for every occasion.
  • I love the little flower accent I was able to create with the Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds and Clay!  I like to make up a bunch of flowers and have them on hand.  I don't dye the clay, I just make them all white.  Then when I'm designing a card, I can color it any color at all with my Aqua Painter and Stamp Pad.  I do love coordination!
  • Cards don't seem to be complete lately without a couple Candy Dots – here I've used black to bring ou the black cardstock and accents in the paper.

Bunny Treat Holder

Today I'm sharing this darling Easter bunny treat holder made by my downline Michele Julian.  I just love the detail in its face – sponging all of the pieces really made a huge difference!  Since I didn't make this project, I'm not able to give you all of the dimensions and instructions, but all of the pieces are cut with Stampin' Up! punches and Big Shot dies.  What I can tell you is that she used the Scallop Envelope Bigz die as the box base.  So cute!  And there's still time to make a few for Easter this Sunday.

Happy Easter – Christ Is Risen!

Have a most blessed Easter.  So sorry I didn't share these cards with you sooner, but maybe there are some of you who have waited until the last minute to make your Easter cards.  And you can also save these ideas until next year!  Be sure to purchase Easter Dove single stamp before the Occasions Mini Catalog retires on April 30th so that you can make these gorgeous cards in the future.

I took these photos of our demonstrator-created card display at Leadership Conference in January.  Sorry that two of the pictures are quite blurry, but they were gorgeous designs and I couldn't re-take the pictures!  All cards are made by Stampin' Up! demonstrators who attended Leadership; I don't have the designers' names to share.

Great idea using the Paper Doily Large Sizzlits Die!

Love this folded paper cross using the Sale-A-Bration Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper – any of our beautiful designer papers will work!

Gorgeous background using Houndstooth Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  Love the flowers from Bordering on Romance stamp set!

Very cool use of the Lattice Die!

Just adore the brayered colors and lily.

All cards use Easter Dove single stamp set, Item No. 125455 for just $6.95.

Some beauties!

Here are some gorgeous cards I've been fortunate enough to have received over the past several months.  Thought I'd share them with you today.

This first card is from my upline and daughter Aly Schilling congratulating me on my #1 Top Sales award for the month of January.  I love Aly's use of the three rhinestones on the beautiful tone-on-tone design from Bliss Sale-A-Bration stamp set.  She also used a piece of Hodgepodge Hardware which coordinates with the Hodgepodge Happiness stamp set.  A touch of Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Seam Binding held in with Rhinestone Brads just makes this card!  And the delicate border is done using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch.

This next card was sent to me by fellow team member and special friend, Jen Rios-Raner.  I lost my beloved Sayj back in October, and Jen created this special card for me.  Sayj was a golden retriever, hence the "golden" dog image in the center – stamped with VersaMark and embossed with gold embossing powder.  There are so many points of interest to this work of art!  I love the simulated dog collar using Early Espresso 5/8" Satin Ribbon with the Gold Eyelets and then attaching a monogram "S" for Sayj along with the punched heart.  Thank you, Jen, for helping me smile!

The final card I'd like to share with you is from Missy Shipman congratulating me on my promotion to Sr. Manager.  Missy used the Pretty Petals background stamp, along with A Flower For All Seasons and So Happy For You, a Sale-A-Bration free stamp set, for the greeting.  I love Missy's added touch with Linen Thread and a button – so pretty.  Thank you, Missy!

Receive your choice of Bliss, Hodgepodge Happiness, A Flower For All Seasons, So Happy For You and more FREE during Sale-A-Bration.  But hurry – this unbelievable promotion ends March 30th!

Congratulations to my Team Members – February

Oh, my!  I just found this post in my drafts!  I thought for sure I had sent this out, but apparently didn't.  So sorry, gals – you had an awesome February.

A sincere "From the Heart Stampers" congratulations goes out the top three sales people on my team for the month of February!  They are:

Sheila Edwards
Sharon Sponaugle
Pam Kane

And Sheila had her first-ever monthly sales total over $1000!  She is working hard to increase her business in the Elmira, NY, area.  Great job, ladies!

And here's the special card I made them:

What a spring-like color combination – Pretty in Pink, Baja Breeze, Pear Pizzazz with a touch of Rich Razzleberry.  This card would also be perfect for Easter – simply change the sentiment stamped on the front.  I began by using the Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Framed Tulips.  I can't get enough of this gorgeous embossing folder!  It's so versatile and is the perfect backdrop for almost any card.  The stamped image is from A Flower for All Seasons.  This is the perfect time to get this stamp set free with a $50 purchase through the end of March.  Click here to find out how!  I've watercolored the image using Stampin' Write Markers and an Aqua Painter  – the key here is to use Watercolor Paper.  And not just any brand!  I tried this technique with non-Stampin' Up! watercolor paper and it doesn't work!  The Stampin' Up! watercolor paper is a high quality that will ensure your little pictures look like works of art!  No "skimping" here!  I lined up some paper-piercing perfectly using the Mat Pack and Paper Piercing Tool and added a twist of Rich Razzleberry 5/8" Satin Ribbon for some pop.  The sentiment is from A Word For You – just marker the part of the stamp you want to use.

Item No. 111592 A Flower For All Seasons $14.95 OR
Item No. 123917 A Flower For All Seasons – FREE with $50 purchase
Item No. 117032 A Word For You – wood mount $21.95 OR
Item No. 120528 A Word For You – clear mount $16.95
Item No. 105019 Watercolor Paper (20) $6.95
Item No. 103954 Aqua Painters (2) $16.95
Item No. 121809 Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Framed Tulips $7.95
Item No. 105826 Mat Pack $9.95
Item No. 116631 Paper-Piercing Tool $3.50
Item No. 119752 Rich Razzleberry 5/8" Satin Ribbon $8.95
various Stampin' Write Markers – $3.50 each

Workshop cards – old and new!

Here are two workshop cards we did last week at Chrysue's workshop.  She had a couple of requests – one was to have me show her some ideas using Flight of the Butterfly stamp set, an oldie but goodie.  She also wondered how to create cards using the Two-Step Bird Punch.  And I know she loves Night of Navy.  So here's what I came up with for us to work on.

I love how simple but how effective this first card turned out.  I paired Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz, Night of Navy and Bashful Blue, along with Inspired by Nature and Flight of the Butterfly stamp sets.  These two sets work so well together.  And of course the Butterfly Punch coordinates, too.

Item No. 111564 Flight of the Butterfly $31.95
Item No. 111656 Inspired by Nature $23.95
Item No. 119848 Butterfly Punch $16.95

And here's our second project:

We began with River Rock card stock, ran it through the Big Shot using the Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Framed Tulips.  Then we used a Stampin' Sponge to apply Always Artichoke Classic Ink to the raised portion of the card stock.  We created a pinwheel background using Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper.  The bird was created with the Two-Step Bird Punch and Rose Red, and Always Artichoke card stocks and a snip of the designer paper to coordinate.  Each person could stamp a sentiment in the inside.

Item No.121809 Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Framed Tulips $7.95
Item No.121782 Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper $9.95
Item No. 117191 Two-Step Bird Punch $16.95
