What a gorgeous new stamp set this is — Just Believe!  There are so many possibilities with all of the pieces you're given.  You'll definitely be seeing this stamp set on my blog again!  When I saw the new color Daffodil Delight, I was interested in pairing it with Night of Navy for a very classic color combo.  Here I've begun with Night of Navy card stock as the card base and stamped the large flower image in the left corner.  Then I added a torn piece of Daffodil Delight designer paper from the Brights Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack.  Next came a piece of Night of Navy 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon tucked under the designer paper and simply knotted at the end.  I inked the tag image with Stampin' Write Markers in the two main colors along with Garden Green, stamped on Whisper White card stock and cut it out with Paper Snips.  The sentiment is also contained in this terrific stamp set but it's in a long line so that it wouldn't fit in the frame.  No problem!  I simply stamped it on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock and snipped out each individual word then popped them up using Dimensionals.

I know that Trendy Trees isn't a brand new stamp set, but look at how "brand new" it looks in our brand new colors!  Every single day I work with our new color palette, I say to myself, "Yeah, we really needed this!"  And I didn't realize I had done it until I had loaded the card onto my blog — except for the Early Espresso replacing the Crumb Cake, I chose the same colors for this card as I chose for the color renovation on my blog!  No wonder I liked this card! 

I began this simple card with Early Espresso card stock, then added a tone-on-tone Old Olive designer paper from Island Oasis Designer Series Paper.  Next came a piece of Peach Parfait card stock stamped with a sentiment also from Trendy Trees.  I added a bit of paper piercing for interest using the Mat Pack and Paper Piercing Tool.  The main images are stamped in Pear Pizzazz, Early Espresso, Peach Parfait and Old Olive Classic Ink, punched out with the 1-1/4" Square Punch and layered with Rich Razzleberry card stock punched out with the Square Scallop Punch.  Images are adhered with Dimensionals.  Be sure to order your Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to line these trees up perfectly!

I'm congratulating Ruth Petrovich yet again!  She's recruited her fourth team member since joining my Stampin' Up! team of demonstrators at the end of February!  Way to go, Ruth!  Ruth's special card has lots of brand new products!  I started with a card base of a new Subtles Collection core color Marina Mist.  A piece of Poppy Parade Designer Paper comes from the Level 1 Hostess Designer Series Paper Pack that you can earn free with the purchase or workshop total of $150.  That's backed with some Daffodil Delight card stock.  Next comes a piece of Daffodil Delight 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon with a Marina Mist button found in the Subtles Designer Buttons pack.  I cut just a sliver of Poppy Pizzazz card stock to act as "thread" through the button.  The main image is from Eastern Blooms stamp set.  I used Poppy Pizzazz and Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write Markers to color the image directly on the rubber then added Daffodil Delight Brads from the Brights Brads pack using a Mat Pack and Paper Piercing Tool after backing it with Poppy Parade card stock.  The sentiment is from a brand new stamp set called Perfect Punches.  What a fun stamp set!  Each stamp coordinates with one of our great punches for easy to use images.  In this case, my image was punched out with Modern Label Punch.  I stamped it twice – once in Poppy Pizzazz and again in Chocolate Chip, then cut out the oval and layered it with Dimensionals.

The two featured stamps sets in this card are For Everything and A Word for You.  I began thinking that I would use more of the Island Oasis Designer Series Paper but ended up only pulling out the Pumpkin Pie Polka Dot sheet from the packet.  But this gorgeous, summery paper pack did help me get started with a terrific color scheme — Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red and Old Olive.  For some reason, this stamp set really lends itself to 3"x6" cards.  See my Card Kit of the Month which also features For Everything along with Flower Brads.  I stamped a tone-on-tone image on the Rose Red card stock base, then added Old Olive card stock punched with the Eyelet Border Punch.  Next came the polka dot designer paper followed by the main image popped up on lots of Dimensionals.  I used a Silver Mini Library Clip and added just a snip of Old Olive 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon using a Mini Glue Dot.  A Pumpkin Circle Fire Rhinestone Brad acts as a glitzy center for the flower, and a little Dazzling Diamonds glitter held on with 2-Way Glue Pen gives the butterfly some shine.  Don't you just love the font of the new sayings in A Word For You!  Use both lines of the saying together or simply use a Stampin' Write Marker to highlight just the first line.  This sentiment stamp set is sure to be one of this year's most popular sets.

I just love when the ole' brain clicks on and I get some inspiration for combining products!  I wanted to use my new stamp set called Word Play and I love this particular image.  I decided to make my husband a "just because" card and maybe slip it into his briefcase before he leaves for work one morning.  So now to come up with a masculine color scheme.  But wait!  I have a whole package of  Travel Journal Designer Series Paper from the Summer Mini Catalog that I haven't even opened!  Those colors would be perfect for him!  And then the real light comes on!  The map paper is just perfect with the "world" sentiment!  Oh, yeah!  I'm cookin' now!

The rest was easy — the "world" saying just had to be in a circle, right?  I simply colored in different parts of the stamp with my Stampin' Write Markers to coordinate with the colors of the designer paper, added a bit of Pumpkin Pie 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon and I'm done!  Color scheme is Pumpkin Pie, Night of Navy, Bashful Blue and Garden Green.  Main circular image is popped up on Dimensionals.  I think he'll really like this one!

Here's the card I designed especially for them:

Oh, you are so going to LOVE working with Marina Mist – a fabulous new blue in the Subtles Collection!  Paired here with Certainly Celery, it is so elegant!  I began my card with a base of Marina Mist card stock.  The next layer is a piece of Presto Patterns Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I rubbed on Certainly Celery Classic Ink then spritzed on some Silver Foil Smooch Spritz.  The Presto paper is white and glossy, and the designs are revealed when you add color to the paper.  This way, you can have any color you want!  Use Smooch Spritz, Aqua Painters, Brayers, Sponge Daubers or Stamp Pads to create a fabulous color scheme of your choice!  A piece of Whisper White 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon is wrapped around that layer and tied in a bow before being adhered to the card base.  Next comes the main image – a beautiful hydrangea image from a brand new stamp set called Because I Care.  It's a Level 1 Hostess stamp set in the new 2010-11 Idea Book & Catalog, so you'll want to be sure to host a workshop totaling at least $150 or place your order of the same amount as soon as possible!  I added a piece of Marina Mist card stock that had been punched along the bottom using the Eyelet Border Punch.  The "for you" sentiment is from Great Friends stamp set.  The main image is adhered to the card using Dimensionals.

I'm having fun doing a little decorating inside my cards.  Give it a try — it really adds the personal touch!
