A Cup of Thanks

I'm an absolute tea lover!  If you share my passion (maybe obsession?), my current favorites are Teavanna's blend of Jasmine Pearls & Peach Tranquility Green Tea and Mightyleaf's Organic Mint Melange.  So when Stampin' Up! came out with a set called "Tea Shoppe" it had my name all over it! 

• Color scheme is Blushing Bride, Marina Mist and Whisper White
• Hello Doily background stamp is stamped in Whisper White Craft Ink then heat embossed using White Embossing Powder and Heat Tool
• I used a retired Stampin' Up! craft knife to cut a slit in the top of the cup which enabled me to secure the White Baker's Twine as a string for the tea bag.
• Love the Marina Mist 1/8"" Taffeta Ribbon on the cup handle!

Last group of swaps

Here are the last 3 swaps I'd like to share with you – lots of terrific ideas for using Occasions Mini Catalog stamp sets!

This pretty monochromatic wedding card is from Michelle Bertrand; she used Love & Laughter stamp set along with Pool Party and Island Indigo card stocks and inks.  Background gets dolled up with the Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and a couple of Pearls complete this classy card.

Here's a beautiful card created by Nicole Bertrand.  She used Apothecary Art stamp set, along with Sale-A-Bration Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper and Ribbon.  Love the coordination of the stamp set and the Labels Collection Framelits Dies – layering them creates this beautiful border around the main image.

Last but certainly not least is a pretty wedding card from Sharon Vickery.  Sharon's used the Bird Builder Punch along with the stamp set Loving Thoughts to create this beauty.

March Birthdays

There were so many birthdays in March – I ended up making quite a few of these and sending them to customers and friends.

• I stamped the flower image in Lucky Limeade Classic Ink then used a Pool Party Stampin' Write Marker to color in the flowers.
• A touch of Dazzling Details in the centers of the flowers really dresses it up.

More Swaps!

Here are some more terrific swaps from our Heartfelt Stampers Stamp Fest, all featuring Occasions Mini Catalog merchandise.

This card was created by Aly Schilling using Rue Des Fleurs stamp set.  The main image is stamped on watercolor paper and uses Stampin' Write Markers and an Aqua Painter to color in.

Next is a fun card from Amy Rist.  Amy chose the stamp set Mouthwatering, and we used Cherry Scented Stampin' Emboss Powder for the cherries.  Simply ink up the stamp with Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade Stampin' Write Markers, stamp on Whisper White card stock, then use a VersaMarker to color over the cherries.  Sprinkle on embossing powder and heat with Heat Tool.  The little heart is from the coordinating Sweet Shop Designer Stickers.

Such a pretty example of using Up in the Air, the hostess exclusive stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog!  Stampin' Write Markers direct to rubber make this little scene come to live.  Love the gorgeous Pretty In Pink Satin Ribbon as an accent.

Happy Birthday and Doily Die Background

Lots and lots of interest in this card by Sheila Edwards, a friend and team member!  And so many wonderful products from the Occasions Mini Catalog! 

• Cut out scrap card stock using Paper Doily Die then use it as a stencil for the background
• Bottom edge was cut using Adorning Accents Edgelits Die then embossed with Adorning Accents Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and stamped with coordinating Bordering on Romance stamp set
• Twitterpated Designer Series Paper has the prettiest prints, two of which are used on this card
• Pearl accent in the upper corner gives an extra touch of elegance
• Sentiment comes from the main catalog, a very versatile set called Perfectly Penned
