Touch and Feel Birthday Card

My grandson Landon is really in to the touch and feel board books right now.  And that was my inspiration for this fun birthday card!

I combined four of my favorite In Colors to create this card — Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo.  Each layer has something to "touch and feel" — lots of texture!  I ran the Bermuda Bay card stock through the Big Shot using the diamond Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plate.  TIP:  Spritz your card stock with water before using the texturz plates to get a crisper image.  Next came some Textured Crushed Curry card stock then Melon Mambo card stock stamped with Craft Black ink then Black Embossing Powder and heat embossed using the Heat Tool.  (The cat image is done in the same way.)  The main image combines two sets — C is for Cat and Four Square for the "happy birthday" sentiment.  I added some more texture with a crochet flower from Fleurettes II and a Clear Rhinestone Brad.

Petal Pizzazz Birthday and Last Day for Registering

Here's a bright and cheery birthday card using Petal Pizzazz stamp set.

I started with a base of Rose Red card stock, then added a piece of Bermuda Bay textured card stock.  I added a thin piece of Whisper White card stock that had been punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch.  (There's still time to earn this fabulous punch for FREE – click HERE!)  Next came Crushed Curry 1/2" Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, pleated over on itself.  Just run some SNAIL Adhesive the length of the ribbon and pinch sections together.  I stamped three of the images from Petal Pizzazz on Whisper White card stock in each of the three main colors, then cut them out and added various pieces from the Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware kit.  The top designer brad has a neat little addition — I punched some Bermuda Bay card stock with the 1/8" hole punch and glued it in place with some Crystal Effects.  It gives the look of having a colored brad in the center.  The sentiment is a rub on from Chit Chat Rub Ons.  With over 180 sentiments contained in this great rub-on package in either white or chocolate, you'll be sure to have the right greeting for any card you want to make!
