In October, I was pleased to welcome 12 new lovely ladies to my Stampin' Up! team of From the Heart Stampers!  And so far in November, 4 more ladies have joined us!  Here's a special card I made to send to each of them.  It starts with Wisteria Wonder card stock and Berry Blossoms Designer Series Paper.  Corner rounding with our 3/16" Corner Punch can really perk up a card!  The little flower is one of my most used punches – Boho Blossoms.  With three different sized flower choices, it always seems perfect for any card!  In the center is a Lucky Limeade Designer Printed Brad - oh, so pretty!  And another great punch – Decorative Label Punch – frames the sentiment from Workshop Words stamp set very nicely.  The final accent is Wisteria Wonder 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon – yum!

Welcome to Nicole and Carol!

I was fortunate to have 4 new ladies join my Stampin' Up! team of demonstrators during July!  Welcome to Nicole, Pat, Kim and Carol!  Pat and Kim received their cards the first week of July, and here's the card I made Nicole and Carol.  Notice a brand new stamp?  While at Convention I received a terrific exclusive set to use in my business.  It's called Workshop Words and I just love it!  I combined it with Beau Chateau Designer Series Paper and picked up the color combination of Pink Pirouette, Marina Mist, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla.  Oh, so pretty!  My punches made this a quick and easy card; they're all listed in the supplies below.  Pearls were a must for this soft, classy look, and a bit of Marina Mist 1/4" Grosgrain RIbbon "ties" it all together!

Welcome, Fran!

Fran Cohen of Rochester, NY, joined my From the Heart Stampers team of Stampin' Up! demonstrators in May, and I made her this special card to say welcome.  I love using the Stampin' Up! Statement of the Heart as a reminder of what our team stands for.  While it's a business for some, a hobby for many, we are still in the "business" of touching people's lives through a simple yet profound act of sharing something we've created.   This card measures 5-1/4" square and begins with Whisper White card stock, then Pear Pizzazz card stock, then Real Red card stock for the center area.  I kept all of the accents in Daffodil Delight – the card stock at the top punched with the Pinking Hearts Border Punch, the flowers at the side cut with the Big Shot and the Birds & Blooms Sizzlits Die, and the scrumptious 5/8" Satin Ribbon.  The final touch is few Rhinestones for the centers of the flowers.

Welcome to my new Team Members

I had the privilege of welcoming 12 new members to my From the Heart Stampers Team of Stampin' Up! demonstrators during the month of November!  Here's a special "welcome to the team" card I made each of them. I was going for a dressy look with the Basic Black and Sahara Sand color scheme, using the Neutrals Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack for the pretty background.  The stamp is the Statement of the Heart – wonderful words with which to begin your new business!  I added Raven 1/2" Lace Trim — it's definitely not just for Halloween — and three Jewels Basic Rhinestones to finish off the classic look.

A From The Heart Welcome

Jodi Brown, Mitra Prat and Dolly VanSickle all recently joined my From The Heart Stampers Team, and I made this card especially to welcome these wonderful women.  The card began with Whisper White card stock, with a layer of Pretty In Pink card stock next.  Then I used Basic Black card stock embellished with the Scallop Trim Border Punch along the bottom edge.  I'm finding the Patterns Designer Series Paper Stacks to be so useful – here I've used a Basic Gray and Whisper White polka dot piece from the Neutrals pack.  A sliver of Pretty in Pink card stock run through the Big Shot using the Top Note Bigz Die decorates the edge.  This is our most popular selling die, and you'll get more mileage with it if you think about using bits and pieces of it as well as the whole image.  I've added a little sophistication with the Basic Rhinestone Jewels and Basic Black 5/8" Satin Ribbon.  The Stampin' Up! Statement of the Heart stamp is the sentiment.

Welcome, Judy!

A big From the Heart Stampers welcome to Judy Valentine from Westminster, Maryland, who joined our Stampin' Up! team this month!  Judy is already an avid stamper and brings over 6 years of experience to our team.  It's wonderful to have such a creative lady be a part of our Stampin' Up! family.  I created this card especially to welcome Judy.  I used a card base of Baja Breeze and paired it with Daffodil Delight and Poppy Parade.  The main image is the Stampin' Up! Statement of the Heart and the Eyelet Border Punch adds some nice interest to the bottom of the Poppy Parade border.  I decorated with some flowers from Eastern Blooms in Poppy Parade with Daffodil Delight accents.  A sliver of Chocolate Chip card stock acts as "thread" through the button from Brights Designer Buttons, and I've added a brad from the Brights Brads as well, then popped up the smaller flower with Dimensionals and curled the petals of the larger flower using a Bone Folder.
