Stampin’ Card Keeper

There's a new product in the Holiday Mini Catalog that's simply wonderful!  It's the Stampin' Card Keeper, and it is a white paper-covered chipboard box to organize all your cards.  The pretty silver metal label holder comes with it and six dividers inside for easy organization.  There's even a pattern included for cutting out your designer paper or fabric – cover the entire box or just the lid!

This box was actually part of our Convention Make & Take project this year.  Can you believe how generous Stampin' Up! is!  The box lid is covered with Timeless Portrait Designer Fabric and Sticky Strip.  With the pattern included with the box, it couldn't be easier!  The beautiful flower is created with card stock and three Stampin' Up! punches – Lace Ribbon Border, Fancy Flower and Blossom Petals Builder.  Colors are More Mustard, Cherry Cobbler, Island Indigo and Lucky Limeade.  The perfect touch to finish off the box is the Clear Crystal Simply Adorned Bauble in the center.  And you thought those darling baubles were only for jewelry!

The silver metal label holder comes detached from the box.  Here I made a backdrop using the On Board Merry Medley Chipboard piece, traced around it on Cherry Cobbler card stock, cut it out then adhered the two together using Tombo Multipurpose Adhesive.  (Actually, that's how you would need to do it, but Stampin' Up! cut them out for us!)  I stamped on it using Basic Black Classic Ink and the image from Best Friends Forever, then fastened it on using the brads that come with the label holder.  The word "cards" is done with Sweet Shoppe Alphabet Lower stamps; for ease in sliding it in and out, a piece of Basic Black 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon acts as a "handle".

This beautiful box would be the perfect gift for someone on your holiday gift-giving list!  Order several today and unleash your creativity – the sky's the limit with decorating possibilities!

Updated “For Sale” Page and Swaps

I just updated my For Sale page with what I have left to sell AND I've slashed the prices!  Click HERE for some terrific deals on retired Stampin' Up! products!

Here are a couple of fantastic swaps I made during our all-day Stamp Fest:

The first card is designed by Sandy J.  I just love her clever idea to turn this card into a scene!  The trees come from the new Pennant Parade stamp set used with the coordinating Petite Pennants Builder Punch.  So fun!

This card was designed by Sandy's daughter, April.  I love that April used the Sweet Buttons Embosslits Die with the Big Shot to work as buttons for the cherries from the Button Buddies stamp set.  What a sweet idea!

Thomas the Tank Engine’s Happy Birthday

Grandson Liam's birthday was Saturday, and like most 3-year-old boys, he loves Thomas the Train!  This card, designed by Stampin' Up! demonstrator Pixie Elletson, was a must!  I added a few touches to make it my own, but basically followed her measurements for this terrific punch art idea.

Needless to say, it ended up being quite a large card.  I designed the track to fold forward and lie on the table when the card is standing.  Two hearts punched from Whisper White card stock and the Full Heart Punch serve as Thomas's smoke.  The Square Lattice Textured Impressions Folder for the Big Shot added some interest, and I found a piece of chipboard from a long-ago On Board Chipboard set to serve as the No. 3 on the front of the engine.  I colored it with Brilliant Blue Craft Ink, layered on some Clear Embossing Powder and used the Heat Tool to set it.  Inside I wrote a very corny saying, but perfect for this adorable card — "Chugga-chugga choo choo.  Happy Birthday to You!"

Here's the birthday boy enjoying helping the entire family put up a new play set in his back yard, a gift from his mom and dad.

Some of the wonderful colors used to create Thomas are retiring.  Get your Brilliant Blue, Summer Sun, Bordering Blue and Creamy Caramel card stocks before they're gone forever!

Congrats Cards

Thanks to all my wonderful customers for a terrific sales month in March!  With all the exciting choices this year, everyone was thrilled to earn free Sale-A-Bration products!  I placed No. 1 in sales on my team, The Heartfelt Stampers, and in the Top 10 of my "upline's upline's" group, The Gladheart Stampers.  Here are two congrats cards I received:

This darling card was made by Missy Shipman.  Don't you just love the punch art owl?  So clever!

This one's from Aly Schilling.  I love her use of the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder on the So Saffron textured card stock for the star.  The sentiment comes from the Level 1 hostess stamp set found in the Occasions Mini Catalog called Picture This.
