Leadership Dinner Swap

I'm heading to dinner this evening with Amy Johnson and 60 of her team members.  Amy is my upline's 5th level upline!  So it'll be an opportunity to meet many wonderful ladies I don't know, all brought together through our love for rubber stamping and Stampin' Up!  Amy organized a full-card swap at the dinner, and this is the card I made for this special occasion.  I've used the soon to be released Sale-A-Bration stamp set called Bliss – my absolute favorite Sale-A-Bration set this year!  Beginning January 25th, get this awesome stamp set free with your purchase of $50.  We're making full cards, not just card fronts, for this swap, so I began with Whisper White card stock as my base, then added a layer of Early Espresso card stock.  Some Melon Mambo card stock was jazzed up a bit with the Pinking Hearts Border Punch, then a bit of Wild Wasabi card stock.  I punched out Whisper White card stock circles with the 2-1/2" Circle Punch and stamped one of the images from Bliss in Wild Wasabi classic ink.  Next came stamping the butterfly image on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock using Melon Mambo classic ink then cutting it out with my Paper Snips and adhering with a Dimensional.  The final touch is a piece of Melon Mambo card stock stamped with the "thank you" from Because I Care stamp set. I used the Corner Rounder Punch on one side then added a Jewel Basic Rhinestone for a touch of bling.

Leadership Bag Tag

As you read this, I'm headed to Nashville for the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference!  I've put together a daily post while I'm away to keep your mojo pumping!  Here's a gift I received from my second level upline, Missy Shipman.  It's a wonderful tag for my bag at the Convention!  Missy created the entire image using My Digital Studio – our fabulous software that lets you create cards, scrapbook pages — yes, and bag tags — anything you want!  Check out all of the wonderful features of My Digital Studio in a short video you can watch HERE.  She then adhered the paper she created to some chipboard, punched a hole and tied a ribbon — simple and stinkin' cute!

Getting ready for Leadership Conference

I'll be leaving for the Stampin' Up! Leadership Convention in Nashville, TN, on January 12th, and here is one of the three swaps that I came up with for the event.  So far, I've made 180 swaps, so I'll have lots and lots of new samples for my customers to look at when I return.  This card features a brand new stamp set that you'll be able to earn FREE beginning January 25th!  It's called Bliss, and it's one of the eight different items available during Sale-A-Bration, the biggest Stampin' Up! sale of the year.  My color scheme is Early Espresso, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz and Crumb Cake.  I've used all but one of the images in the stamp set to create this card.  The sentiment comes from the hostess Level 1 stamp set Because I Care – you can also earn this gorgeous stamp set free with either hosting a workshop or making a purchase that totals $150 or more.  The Daffodil Delight card stock is run through the Big Shot using the Textured Impressions Square Lattice Embossing Folder, and I've used Circle Punches for a quick way to punch out all of the small images.  A piece of Early Espresso 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon and a Gold Brad give the card a little accent.

Christmas with Grandbabies & January Calendar

I don't often share personal pictures on my Stampin' Up! blog, but today's the exception.  Yesterday we celebrated Christmas with our children and 4 grandchildren, and I just had to share this darling picture.  What a lot of work getting 4 little ones to pose for the camera!  This is the best result.  From left to right are Landon age 20 mos., Jackson age 1, Quinn age 5, and Liam age 3.  They are truly the joys of my life!

Christmas Bonanza – Registration Closing and Change of Location

It's that time of year again – our biggest event of the season – Christmas Bonanza!

Event Details:
Join other Stampers from all around Central New York to put on the Holiday Music, bring out the Christmas Cookies and get in the spirit of the Season as we stamp the day away! You'll go home with all sorts of completed projects including: Christmas Tags, Christmas Ornaments, Christmas Cards, Treat Containers and more! Keep your handmade items for yourself or give them away as Christmas Gifts to someone special!

Registration Information:
All Registrations and Payments MUST be received by November 6th in order to attend! Because of the large quantity of products that have to be ordered and prepared, this is essential. However, while the deadline is November 6th, our space is limited to 42 participants. Last year we sold out so this year we're likely to hit that number quickly! If we reach 42 before November 6th, then registration will CLOSE before the November 6th deadline. Be sure to pass on this information to a friend – how fun it would be for you both to share the day together! Registration is 1st come, 1st served, so to ensure that you receive a spot, Register Today!!!

Event Fee:

The cost of this event is $45 and non-refundable after November 6th (before November 6th you will have the opportunity to take either a cash or product refund). After the November 6th deadline if you're unable to attend, you can pass your spot on to a friend and/or receive all of the project supplies that were given out that day to use on your own. There will be a lunch break during the day for you to either eat a lunch that you've brought with you or order a yummy lunch delivered to you from Simply Crepes for $10.

The Event Includes:

There are many Demonstrators working to make this event a success. So you're sure to have plenty of guidance and instruction as you complete your projects! Your registration fee also includes Christmas Cookies, Hot Apple Cider and Hot Chocolate served throughout the day. The Stampin' Up! products featured below will be given to you the day of the event. You'll use some of these items to complete your projects during the event, but whatever is leftover at the end of the day is yours to go home with and use on your own.

 In addition to the above products that you see, you will also receive all of the other supplies that are needed to complete your projects such as cardstock, ribbon, brads, etc. You'll also have the use of our punches, stamp sets and inkpads. This is a terrific way for you to make a variety of Christmas projects at very little cost to you!


Please Note: You will need to bring your own Stampin' Up! Brand SNAIL Adhesive. If you do not have any, you can order one on your Registration Form and we will have it for you the day of the event.
