Some beauties!
Here are some gorgeous cards I've been fortunate enough to have received over the past several months. Thought I'd share them with you today.
This first card is from my upline and daughter Aly Schilling congratulating me on my #1 Top Sales award for the month of January. I love Aly's use of the three rhinestones on the beautiful tone-on-tone design from Bliss Sale-A-Bration stamp set. She also used a piece of Hodgepodge Hardware which coordinates with the Hodgepodge Happiness stamp set. A touch of Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Seam Binding held in with Rhinestone Brads just makes this card! And the delicate border is done using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch.

This next card was sent to me by fellow team member and special friend, Jen Rios-Raner. I lost my beloved Sayj back in October, and Jen created this special card for me. Sayj was a golden retriever, hence the "golden" dog image in the center – stamped with VersaMark and embossed with gold embossing powder. There are so many points of interest to this work of art! I love the simulated dog collar using Early Espresso 5/8" Satin Ribbon with the Gold Eyelets and then attaching a monogram "S" for Sayj along with the punched heart. Thank you, Jen, for helping me smile!

The final card I'd like to share with you is from Missy Shipman congratulating me on my promotion to Sr. Manager. Missy used the Pretty Petals background stamp, along with A Flower For All Seasons and So Happy For You, a Sale-A-Bration free stamp set, for the greeting. I love Missy's added touch with Linen Thread and a button – so pretty. Thank you, Missy!

Receive your choice of Bliss, Hodgepodge Happiness, A Flower For All Seasons, So Happy For You and more FREE during Sale-A-Bration. But hurry – this unbelievable promotion ends March 30th!

Congratulations to my Team Members – February
Oh, my! I just found this post in my drafts! I thought for sure I had sent this out, but apparently didn't. So sorry, gals – you had an awesome February.
A sincere "From the Heart Stampers" congratulations goes out the top three sales people on my team for the month of February! They are:
Sheila Edwards
Sharon Sponaugle
and
Pam Kane
And Sheila had her first-ever monthly sales total over $1000! She is working hard to increase her business in the Elmira, NY, area. Great job, ladies!
And here's the special card I made them:

What a spring-like color combination - Pretty in Pink, Baja Breeze, Pear Pizzazz with a touch of Rich Razzleberry. This card would also be perfect for Easter – simply change the sentiment stamped on the front. I began by using the Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Framed Tulips. I can't get enough of this gorgeous embossing folder! It's so versatile and is the perfect backdrop for almost any card. The stamped image is from A Flower for All Seasons. This is the perfect time to get this stamp set free with a $50 purchase through the end of March. Click here to find out how! I've watercolored the image using Stampin' Write Markers and an Aqua Painter – the key here is to use Watercolor Paper. And not just any brand! I tried this technique with non-Stampin' Up! watercolor paper and it doesn't work! The Stampin' Up! watercolor paper is a high quality that will ensure your little pictures look like works of art! No "skimping" here! I lined up some paper-piercing perfectly using the Mat Pack and Paper Piercing Tool and added a twist of Rich Razzleberry 5/8" Satin Ribbon for some pop. The sentiment is from A Word For You – just marker the part of the stamp you want to use.

Workshop cards – old and new!
Here are two workshop cards we did last week at Chrysue's workshop. She had a couple of requests – one was to have me show her some ideas using Flight of the Butterfly stamp set, an oldie but goodie. She also wondered how to create cards using the Two-Step Bird Punch. And I know she loves Night of Navy. So here's what I came up with for us to work on.

I love how simple but how effective this first card turned out. I paired Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz, Night of Navy and Bashful Blue, along with Inspired by Nature and Flight of the Butterfly stamp sets. These two sets work so well together. And of course the Butterfly Punch coordinates, too.
Item No. 111564 Flight of the Butterfly $31.95
Item No. 111656 Inspired by Nature $23.95
Item No. 119848 Butterfly Punch $16.95
And here's our second project:

We began with River Rock card stock, ran it through the Big Shot using the Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Framed Tulips. Then we used a Stampin' Sponge to apply Always Artichoke Classic Ink to the raised portion of the card stock. We created a pinwheel background using Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper. The bird was created with the Two-Step Bird Punch and Rose Red, and Always Artichoke card stocks and a snip of the designer paper to coordinate. Each person could stamp a sentiment in the inside.
Item No.121809 Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Framed Tulips $7.95
Item No.121782 Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper $9.95
Item No. 117191 Two-Step Bird Punch $16.95

Happy Easter!
I've had a wonderful Easter celebration with lots of family today, and I'm just sitting down to show you a couple of Easter cards. The first are cards I made for my grandbabies. I didn't do Easter baskets this year, but wrapped a gift — a book, a small toy and an outfit for each. I made these cute little 3"x3" cards to enclose with each gift. Since there are three boys and a girl, I made three of the blue card and one of the pink!

I ordered the Ovals Originals Die just in time — it made perfect layered "eggs". And at just $15.95 for three different sized ovals, it's even cheaper than punches! I cut one in Pretty in Pink and one in Bashful Blue for each of the two cards, then cut the smaller size with the same die in white, stamped the chick image from A Good Egg, then colored them in with So Saffron, Pretty in Pink and Bashful Blue markers. The strip of designer paper was left over from Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Stack. I'm really going to miss that one! Hope we get a replacement that's equally versatile soon! I added a couple of So Saffron Brads from the Rich Regals Brads assortment pack with a Mat Pack and Paper Piercing Tool. So simple yet so cute, don't you think?
THINGS YOU'LL NEED:
Item No. 114525 Ovals Originals Die $15.95
Item No. 114974 A Good Egg $23.95
Item No. 106953 Rich Regals Brads $8.95
Item No. 105826 Mat Pack $9.95
Item No. 116631 Paper Piercing Tool $3.50
And here's a beautiful Easter card I received from my daughter Aly today:

She used one of my favorite stamp sets — Flower Fancy. I love this two-step stamping set! It's good for almost every occasion. It makes the perfect Easter card here, but it's also wonderful for birthdays, anniversaries, get well and sympathy. And this month is the perfect time to purchase this fabulous stamp set — it's 20% off! Aly used a great stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog called Well Scripted for the "happy Easter" greeting. Some Pretty in Pink tone-on-tone designer paper was added from the Shades of Spring Designer Series Paper pack, also from the Occasions Mini. And I love her use of the White Taffeta Ribbon at the corners.
Here's a close-up of
the flower image. A great way to adhere glitter so that it doesn't rub off is to apply a small circle of Crystal Effects then sprinkle on Dazzling Diamonds and let it dry for about 1/2 hr. No glitter flake-off with this method!
THINGS YOU'LL NEED:
Item No. 111578 Flower Fancy stamp set $36.95 — 20% off or just $29.56
Item No. 118601 Well Scripted Clear Mount stamp set $19.95
Item No. 117160 Shades of Spring Designer Series Paper $9.95
Item No. 109070 Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon $6.95
Item No. 101055 Crystal Effects $6.25
Item No. 102023 Dazzling Diamonds Glitter $4.50
