Wonderful You

This card features the gorgeous designer paper called Everyday Enchantment you'll be able to take for FREE during Sale-a-Bration beginning January 24th!  It's absolutely delicious – and what a terrific way to show it off!  Greeting comes from Loving Thoughts stamp set in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  This was another congratulations card I received from my upline, Aly Schilling, for reaching $100,000 in career sales in December, but you can choose any sentiment to place on the banner.  Some Very Vanilla 5/8" Satin Ribbon completes the elegant look.  Easy as can be, but oh, so pretty!

Congratulations to my Team Members – December 2011

This card features Bordering on Romance, a beautiful new stamp set in the Occasions Mini.  The main image is made with the Ovals Originals Die and the Big Shot.  Don't forget to use an Embossing Buddy over the card stock before you begin stamping.  Rub it gently across the paper to prevent those nasty stray pieces of embossing powder from sticking where you don't want them.  I stamped in VersaMark ink, sprinkled on some Black Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool.  Then the flowers are colored in with an Aqua Painter and ink from the stamp pads – Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade and Island Indigo.  Wisteria Wonder card stock is run through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.  The pretty ribbon is part of a ribbon and brad bundle coming your way with Sale-a-Bration on January 24th – earn it free with a $50 order!  Includes ribbon in Lucky Limeade and Calypso Coral and 3/8" Printed Designer Brads.

Dare to Dream

This beauty was made by team member Nicole Bertrand to celebrate my $100,000 career sales mark in December.  Isn't it gorgeous!  She used lots of brand new Occasions Mini Catalog products.  Stamp sets are Apothecary Art and Loving Thoughts.  Loving Thoughts is a wonderful sentiment stamp set containing 11 different sentiments that fit perfectly with a few different stamp sets in the Occasions Mini.  And the stamps in Apothecary Art line up with and are cut out by the new Labels Collection Framelits Dies.  She also used Twitterpated Designer Series Paper as well as Baja Breeze 3/8" Pleated Satin Ribbon.  So pretty and so thoughtful!

Congratulations to my Team Members – October 2011

A sincere "From the Heart Stampers" congratulations goes out to the top sales people on my team for the month of October!  We also had an AMAZING month with 12 new team members joining our group in October (and 4 more in November)!  You ladies rock!  And here's the special card I made them.

With the pretty prints in the Timeless Portrait Designer Series Paper, it's easy to create beautiful color combinations!  Here I've used River Rock, Cherry Cobbler and Not Quite Navy.  Although the suggested color for the designer paper is Island Indigo, the darker shade of blue gives this card a more vintage look.  I've also used a snip of Newsprint Designer Series Paper sponged with Crumb Cake Classic Ink.  Sentiment is from Perfectly Penned and includes some Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon.  Don't forget a bit of bling with Rhinestones!

Gently Falling Card Set

Have I got a treat for you today!!!!  I have an ENTIRE Fall card set project to show.  I designed this card set for my September demonstrator team Stamp & Chat that I hold once a quarter.  The idea behind this set of cards is to choose a small selection of Stampin' Up! products to showcase throughout all of the cards so that my team could then offer this as a class for their customers.  I designed each card to teach an easy technique (or two!).  With the exception of a few small additions, I chose to focus on Spice Cake Designer Series Paper, Gently Falling stamp set, Perfectly Penned stamp set for the 4 sentiments, a roll of Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon and a package of Basic Pearls.  The cards and 4 Very Vanilla envelopes all fit nicely in the file folder card case featuring a Spice Cake Designer Button.

The first card features a "rock and roll" method for creating the two-toned leave of More Mustard and Pool Party (really 3-toned when counting the second stamp in Soft Suede).  Dazzling Details gives the leaf an iridescent glitter.  I also showed how to create the ribbon rose by twisting the ribbon and laying it into Sticky Sheets.  Leaves are punched using the 5-Petal Flower Punch.

This card shows how to gather the ribbon into a row of Sticky Strip for an interesting look, as well as layering our 5/8" Jumbo Brads with a card stock circle and a pearl for added interest.  Postage Stamp Punch is used for the designer paper.

This card highlights the beautiful two-step stamping of the Gently Falling stamps.  Torn edges around the Get Well sentiment add some more interest.  The pearls were lost on the busy background designer paper, so I backed them with Pool Party card stock circles created with the Itty Bitty Punch Pack.  The Eyelet Border Punch gave the More Mustard background some pop.

The final card in the set uses Post-It notes to mask around the edges of the background of the leaf then sponging Crumb Cake Classic Ink inside.  Stamp the leaf image over the top using Soft Suede Classic Ink.

I was giving out these cards at our Oktoberfest weekend retreat, so I wanted to keep with the circus theme.  The red and white star designer paper from Big Top Birthday Designer Series Paper pack was perfect for my sales stars!  But I couldn't stop there – I cut out two size of stars using the Stars #2 Die with the Big Shot die-cutting machine and Red and Silver Glimmer Paper, holding them together with a Tempting Turquoise Glimmer Brad from the Brights collection.  The Daffodil Delight card stock is run through the Big Shot using the Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  Stampin' Write Markers direct to the rubber stamp create our "you're a star" sentiment from Workshop Words stamp set, and a few Basic Rhinestones give even more bling.

More from Oktoberfest Retreat Weekend

I began posting about our Heartfelt Stampers' retreat weekend HERE.  Today, I'll show you some of the adorable gifts and goodies we all received for coming.

Here are some of the treats that everyone who attended received.  Everything was in keeping with the circus theme.

This was a little note card that accompanied a cookie made from Stampin' Up!'s new Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps – it was packaged in a cello bag with a pretty red bow on top, but I ate it!  Am I terrible?  I didn't even wait to snap a photo!

Here is our second pillow gift.  Notice the darling tag made from Under The Big Top stamp set.  And look at that gorgeous Red Glimmer Paper punched out for the bar bells!  It also uses a Mini Clothespin to keep the bag shut.  And inside was some ruffled ribbon.

I showed you a picture before of our amazing popcorn popper – well, here are the containers we used to dish it up!  The popcorn motif was created from the Cupcake Builder Punch, as well as a punch from Itty Bitty Punch Pack.  So clever!

And here's the card I received for my sales for the month of September.  Love this idea of creating a circus tent!  It's made by punching lots of card stock pieces from the Word Window Punch and another image from the Under the Big Top stamp set.

5 Years with Stampin’ Up!

September marks my 5th year anniversary with Stampin' Up! and to celebrate, I received this beauty from downline team member Nicole Bertrand.  Isn't it gorgeous!  I love her use of all the 2011-12 In Colors combined – Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Lucky LImeade and Island Indigo.  The sentiment is from Curly Cute stamp set and the pretty border is punched with the new Lace Ribbon Border Punch.  The flower is a single stamp called Triple Treat Flower.  Stamp three times in three different colors, and use three of Stampin' Up!'s punches to create this layered effect.  You'll want to order the following:
