2015-17 In Color Club is HERE!

It’s that time again – time to introduce the 2015-17 In Color Club!  The products I look most forward to in the new Annual Catalog are the release of the new In Colors.  Everything looks fresh with the addition of one of these ultra-current shades.  And to help you get all of the new In Color products, I’m offering them in a club format.  The club runs from June – October 2015 and there’s also an EXPRESS option again this year to get everything all in one shipment.

All In Color Club members will receive two free welcome gifts – an In Color Bookmark and 5 coordinating envelopes.

Here’s a look at your free gifts.  Use your In Color bookmark to keep your place in your new catalog or keep it handy as a color reference in your creative space!  Your 5 coordinating, stamped and lined envelopes can be used to send your In Color card set.  (Liners may vary in print but will still coordinate with cards.)
Every month, you’ll receive the following (multiply the list by 5 for what you’ll have by the end of 5 months!)
  • A hand-stamped card featuring your In Color of the Month
  • 12 sheets of 8-1/2″ x 11″ Cardstock
  • 1 Ink Pad
  • 1 Ink Refill
  • 1 yard Dotted Lace Trim
  • 4 Blossom Accents
  • 1 Stampin’ Write Marker
  • (2) 6″ x 12″ sheets of In Color Designer Series Paper Slab
  • (2) 6″ x 12″ sheets of In Color Envelope Paper

Here’s a look at what you’ll end up with!

NOTE:  You will also receive all of the 6″ x 12″ In Color Designer Series Paper Slab sheets (2 each of all 5 colors).  This product is not yet available to demonstrators, so it is not included in the photo.

This club makes it possible for you to have the coordination on a budget. Plus, it’s a fun surprise to see which color you’ll get each month!

All kits are packaged with care. $5.60 shipping will be added on to your total each month and your goodies will be sent via a Priority Flat Rate Mailer. If you want “in” just follow these steps!

  1. E-mail me at krisshuels@gmail.com to let me know that you want to join.
  2. You’ll provide me with your credit card information and your card will be charged between the 1st and 10th of the month for $26 plus $5.60 shipping for a total of $31.60 for 5 months (June – October).
  3. Every month, between the 25th and 30th of the month, you’ll receive your In Color package in the mail with an assortment of products featuring one of the In Colors and a hand-stamped card to match your month’s color (one of the ones featured above). You’ll receive a different color each month until you have all 5 colors.

Aloha – as this is posting I am on a plane to attend the Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip to Hawaii!  I am so fortunate to be able to take this fabulous trip to Oahu with all expenses paid by Stampin’ Up!  It’s truly a fantastic part of being a demonstrator.  Thank you to all my wonderful customers and team members – without each and every one of you this wouldn’t be possible!

I’ve decide to “shut down” and really call this a vacation, so I will have very limited internet access and won’t be working much except to check and answer a few emails.

I will be back working to catch up on May 20th and will be posting the May Card Shoppe cards then.  In the meantime, you may place your orders to receive free May card kits by using Host Code YT373CJ3 in my online store HERE.  You’ll have until May 31st to place your orders, and the May card kits will go out by the end of the month.

Don’t forget about the Retiring Products List 2015 updated 5/10 – there’s not too much more time to get in on the discounts and order your favorite products before they’re gone!

And be sure to “like” my Facebook page – Stamp With Kriss – so that you can follow the posts of my photos from Hawaii.  I’m sure there’ll be some great card samples and pillow gifts that contain brand new products from the upcoming Annual Catalog!

Painted Petals Thank You for Mother’s Day

I was thinking that a thank you card just might be the most appropriate Mother’s Day card there is!  We have so much to thank our mothers for and this pretty card would be perfect.

  • The Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog will be retiring on June 2nd, and one of my favorite suites to work with is the Painted Petals coordinated products.  Here I’ve used the Painted Blooms stamp set and the Painted Blooms Designer Paper, and there’s also a Spring Flowers Embossing Folder that coordinates beautifully.  And the stamp set is available in all three stamp types – wood, clear mount or photopolymer!
  • The color scheme is from the designer paper – Blackberry Bliss, Rose Red, Wild Wasabi and Soft Sky.
  • This stamp set has a lot of different components, and some can be used as base stamps for lots of other stamp sets.  Here, I’ve used the row of watercolor circles to create a border above the Soft Sky Cardstock strip, and this could be so useful on so many cards.
  • The Oval Framelits used with the Big Shot creates the backdrop for the pretty flowers.  There’s a stamp for the stems and a separate one for the flowers, so it’s easy to stamp them in different colors.
  • It’s not easy to see in the photo, but the flowers have just a touch of Dazzling Details to make them shine.
  • Love the font combo for the sentiment – it’s stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink.
  • Three Soft Sky Candy Dots finish up the card.  You’ll find them in the Subtles Collection of Candy Dots.

Wishing all of you mothers a beautiful day of being pampered and spoiled – you deserve it!

Don’t Forget!

Mother’s Day and Mother’s Love

Mother’s Day is just around the corner – a few short days away – but we celebrated Mother’s Day last Saturday night by going out to dinner with our whole family to one of our favorite restaurants.  I made this card for my lovely daughter and daughter-in-law, and while each mom has her own “style”, both of them are the best moms to my beautiful grandchildren!

  • The 2014 Annual Catalog is nearing an end, and with it goes all of our gorgeous Stampin’ Up! designer series paper, like this one called Flowerpot.  I’ll see if I can use a bit up and show you more things to do with your scraps before the end of the catalog on June 2nd!
  • You know how I like circles – I think I use them on just about every card!  And this one is all about circles cut with the Circles Framelits and the Big Shot.  Stampin’ Up! does all the work for us by giving us beautifully coordinated pieces.  All you need to do is cut a bunch of different sizes and arrange them artfully on your cardstock.  The top left circle is simply Not Quite Navy cardstock run through the Big Shot with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder just to give it another look.
  • Don’t forget to use lots of Dimensionals – the different heights are essential to make this card really interesting!
  • “Best mother ever” comes from And Many More stamp set – a great staple with 23 greeting stamps for all occasions.
  • Make the sweet flower accent using the Flower Frenzy Bigz Die and the Big Shot.  This die is retiring and available only while supplies last AND it’s 50% off!!!!  Price is marked down from $37.95 to $18.98!!!
  • And Stampin’ Up! always has just the right accent!  A Garden Green Candy Dot from the Regals Collection is all you need to set off this pretty flower.
  • Don’t forget to line your envelope with this pretty paper – the Envelope Liner Framelits and the Big Shot make it so quick and easy!

Tuesday Tidbits

The new Stampin’ Up! 2015-16 Annual Catalog launch is just around the corner!  And in preparation for its release, I’m ordering in cases and cases of new catalogs.  Those customers who are receiving May Card Shoppe kits will receive a new catalog in the mail along with your kits at the end of May!  If you’ve purchased a minimum of $100 through me this past year, you will automatically receive a new catalog.  If you are not already working with another demonstrator and wish to purchase Stampin’ Up! products through me, email me and I will send out a free new catalog to you – I just ask that you pay to have the catalog shipped to you.

Weekly Deals

Stampin’ Up! never disappoints on the Weekly Deals!  Sweet Taffy Designer Paper was one of my most-used papers of the year!  And it’ll be retiring in a few short weeks.  I love the Gift Box Punch Board for making a variety of sized boxes.  And the 2″ Circle Punch is one of the most common size circles I use.  Take advantage of combining the Weekly Deals with the Retiring Products List for your order this week.

Your Perfect Day

your perfect day

Time to start thinking about wedding cards – June is the biggest wedding month of the year!  Stampin’ Up! has a couple of really nice wedding stamp sets in the 2015 Occasions Catalog.  Today I’m featuring Your Perfect Day.  And remember – you only have until June 2nd to order from the Occasions Catalog!

  • As with many of my cards, I began with a great wedding designer paper called Something Borrowed.  It contains various prints in Sahara Sand and Whisper White, perfect for adding your own wedding color scheme.  And with more sheets of each design, this paper is great for creating multiple projects, like wedding save the date, invitations or thank you cards.
  • The cake image is stamped with StazOn Ink, then a slight bit of coloring was done with the Aqua Painter and Sahara Sand Stamp Pad.
  • A piece of Doily peeks out of the side for a little soft interest.
  • I also used the Corner Rounder on the two right-hand corners.  This little addition can change up the look of your card so much!
  • The sweet hearts on the cake come from the Heart Border Punch.  I added tiny Pearls to each.
  • Stampin’ Up! Blushing Bride Cotton Ribbon is so soft and easy to tie.  Here I added a second piece to have a double knotted ribbon look.

Nobody Loves Like a Mom

Loves like a mother

This sentiment is simply the perfect one for mothers everywhere and comes from the Stampin’ Up! 2015 Occasions Catalog stamp set called Mother’s Love.  Mother’s Day is just a week away, so be sure to honor the moms in your life with a beautiful handmade card!

  • I’ve used the pretty Painted Blooms Designer Paper as the basis for my card and a wonderfully springy color scheme – Blackberry Bliss, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Rose Red and Wild Wasabi.
  • Gold Embossing Powder really makes the sentiment stand out on the Rose Red cardstock circle.   It’s layered with a pretty Doily.
  • Again, Stampin’ Up! does the coordination factor so well!  I’ve used a Gold Button and some gold fibers from the Gold Baker’s Twine through the button, as well as Wild Wasabi Painted Blooms Cotton Twine.
  • It’s a super simple card, but my mother-in-law will love it!

Loves like a mother closeup

I’m missing my mom terribly as I create Mother’s Day cards; she has been gone 10 years now and left this Earth way too young.  Please indulge me as I share one of my favorite pictures of the two of us.  This picture says it all – no one loves like mom!
