Here's a card that mixes some brand new products with some of our older, favorite ones. 

• I've loved using the Print Poetry Designer Paper Stack from the Spring Catalog, and it's due to retire! 
• The Vanilla Flower Trim has been a HUGE success – people love working with this pretty accent.  But it's retiring, too!  I used a Summer Starfruit Marker to color the tips.
• The Bird Builder Punch is an old favorite and will remain in our 2013-14 Annual Catalog – I used it to create the punched Gumball Green Card stock leaves next to the flower.
• "Gee, thanks" is a fresh, new sentiment from a stamp set called Really Good Greetings – love that name!  It's not available until May 31st, but it should be one of your top picks from the new catalog.  Here I've punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch.
• There's a new embossing folder that's oh, so pretty – the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder.  You can get a bit of a different look using the two different sides.  Here's a comparison:

So Sorry

There have been some sad times for some people in my life right now, so I made this card for a couple of friends.  It features the new Pistachio Pudding card stock and ink, which I'm having a devil of a time photographing true to color!  Believe me, it's much prettier "in person"!  Other colors are Wisteria Wonder, now taking its permanent place in our Subtles Collection, and Rich Razzleberry, which is always my "go to" color.

• It's easy to use an embossing folder on every single card I make, especially when there's such a great variety to choose from!  Here I've used the Fancy Fans embossing folder on the Pistachio Pudding card stock.
• Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Stitched Ribbon and the Delicate Details Lace Tape combine to give good accents to this card.
• Adorning Accents Edgelit cuts the scalloped card stock.

Use a variety of coordinating sentiment stamps to add additonal words to your "So Sorry" greeting, or simply leave them off.

Thinking of you on Mother’s Day

With only a little over two weeks to go before the new Annual Catalog is released, I thought I'd give you a little sneak peek today of some new products being introduced!  Here is a portion of the Gingham Garden Suite, sure to be a favorite this year.  I made this card for my daughter and daughters-in-law for Mother's Day, but it would work for many occasions.

• The new stamp set featured is Kind & Cozy – lots of country-feeling images including my favorite (which I didn't even use!) which is a cute little tea cup.
• The Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper contains Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Night of Navy, Pear Pizzazz (yes, it's back!) and Whisper White - so bright and cheerful!
• You're going to FLIP when you see the new Candy Dots – a brad system that has every permanent color we carry in adhesive tops.  Use any color Candy Dot on a Brad Base for a framed colored brad, or just use the Dots on their own.  Here I've used an Island Indigo Dot from the Regals Pack.
• White Baker's Twine looks good with this suite.
• Daffodil Delight card stock and the Scallop Trim Border Punch pair to create a nice edge.

Don't forget a little envelope art.  Kind & Cozy has the perfect images for this!  There's even a "made with love" stamp I've used for the back of my card.

And I decorated the inside with a Whisper White card stock liner and some more stamping.

Wow, what a spectacularly gorgeous card I received from my daughter for Mother's Day yesterday!  I don't even know where to begin telling you all the touches she added to create this beauty!
